Story
Domino is new! She was found as a stray and like so many of the dogs in the shelter, she was never claimed. She is underweight. We are hoping that after a few good meals and some love and attention from the staff and volunteers, she will be a whole new girl. When the volunteers got her out for the first time they said she was easy to walk on a leash and didn't pull at all. She also loves attention and treats! We don't have a current age or weight on her, but we promise we will soon! If you want to meet Domino, she is at Taney County Animal Control! Stay tuned for more info!

Story
We know that it's what's on the inside that counts... But you just can't hide gorgeous. Opal looks confident and fierce and ready to take over the world, but she's actually a bit shy and unsure. She has been in the shelter fighting a nasty parasite and has finally cleared. After weeks of quarantine, she has been able to explore the yard and start to learn what being a dog is all about. Still, the shelter is no place for a growing girl, and at 5 months old, we think Opal is still growing! She and her sister Hazel play well together in the yard and are learning new things every day. We think you should come meet Opal and give her a chance to win you over. You aren't going to find a more beautiful dog anywhere!

Story
He was found as a stray, and like so many of the dogs at the shelter, he was never claimed. He is around 4 years old and weighs 71 lbs. Roger is housebroken. He tries to hold it in his kennel and when he is let out, it is the first thing he does. He loves people and is very affectionate. He loves bottom scratches (as Susan is demonstrating in the below photo 😂) and is working on his leash skills. He can also sit for a treat! Roger is fairly gentle for a big boy and just needs someone to take care of. Could that someone be you?
