Story
Gunner is one of a kind.  He was an owner surrender with too much energy for their family. We really don't know his breed though and they didn't have info on parents.  He is house trained, good with cats and other dogs.  He has been both inside and outside.  He loves human attention and is very playful. He needs a place where he can run and play in a yard.  The family that surrrendered him did say they didn't have enough time to spend with him.  He does walk well on a leash too.  If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.February 23, 2024, 3:20 pm

Story
Meet Dizzy, the super sweet puppy with a heart as big as his paws! Despite facing some unique challenges due to Cerebellar Hypoplasia, Dizzy doesn't let anything dampen his playful spirit or his enthusiasm for life. Cerebellar Hypoplasia is a neurological condition in which the cerebellum—the part of the brain that coordinates movement—is smaller than usual or not completely developed.Dizzy may be larger than life, but his gentle nature and loving personality make him a beloved member of any family. His adorable wobbles and bouncy movements might draw attention, but it's his infectious joy that truly steals the show.Born with CH, Dizzy navigates the world in his own special way, bringing laughter and love wherever he goes. His condition may affect his coordination, but it never hinders his determination to explore and enjoy every moment to the fullest.Despite any challenges he may face, Dizzy is an inspiration to all who meet him, showing us that every obstacle can be overcome with a wag of the tail and a heart full of love. With patience, understanding, and plenty of cuddles, Dizzy proves that being different only adds to his charm and makes him all the more lovable. With his irresistible charm and boundless affection, Dizzy teaches us the true meaning of resilience, acceptance, and unconditional love. He's not just a puppy; he's a shining example of strength and joy, reminding us to embrace life's twists and turns with a smile on our faces and love in our hearts.Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas. We require an approved adoption application on file before scheduling meets with our dogs. You can find the application here (www.bigpawsozarks.org/adoption-application).
