Jer Bear is a handsome brown and black pit who is 4 years old and weighs 63.6 lbs. He’s currently at Butte Humane Society after coming to us from another shelter, so we’re still getting to know him, but he’s already stealing hearts. Jer Bear is very sweet, incredibly affectionate, and a total cuddle bug. He still has some puppy-like playful energy and loves playing with toys just as much as he loves snuggling. He’s also very food motivated and already knows how to sit, making him eager and fun to work with. Story
Bugs is a 3.5-year-old Beagle Boxer and Terrier mix! He originally was adopted from Butte Humane Society as a puppy and had a wonderful home. Bugs is friendly and outgoing with people and has really great leash manners. He is housebroken feels most comfortable with adults as he has never interacted with children people. Bugs former owner recommends he goes to a home without other animals due to a strong instinct to chase, he can still have dog playmates that are his size but other animals in the household should be avoided. Bugs is a great size for any living situation and would be an excellent companion for an active adult and someone who can help him acclimate to their lifestyle. Bugs is up to date on vaccines, preventatives, is neutered and microchipped. Breed descriptions are best guess and are not meant to imply that is the only breed within the dog's DNA. Breed descriptions are based on visual representation of the dogs' characteristics. Bugs needs a home without small children, dog savvy teenagers are ideal! Bugs needs a home without other animals. Story
Meet Nico, a striking six-month-old 52 lb. American Pitbull Terrier mix whose unique black and brindle coat is as eye-catching as his vibrant personality. Though he is still just a young pup, Nico has a heart of gold and an outgoing nature that makes him the unofficial greeting committee for everyone he meets. Recently transferred from another shelter to find his forever home, this resilient boy hasn't let a change in scenery dampen his spirits; instead, he treats every day like a brand-new adventure filled with zoomies, tail wags, and endless affection. Whether he’s showing off his playful side with a squeaky toy or leaning in for some much-needed ear scratches, Nico’s primary mission is to steal your heart with his goofy grin and soulful eyes. He is the perfect blend of puppy energy and sweet-natured charm, making him an ideal companion for an active family looking for a loyal new member. Nico is at a perfect age to have a best friend and companion to conquer doggy adventures with! We don't know how he does with kitties, but with patience, a proper introduction could lead to success! Nico is already up to date on all his current vaccines and preventions, and while he is currently intact, he will have a neuter date scheduled as part of his adoption process to ensure he’s ready for a healthy life ahead. This handsome fellow is eagerly waiting for you to come say hello at 13391 Garner Lane in Chico, CA, where he is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy spot on your couch.
