I'm at our Oglethorpe Street shelter! If you want to adopt me, come to 71 Oglethorpe St. NW between 12-7 pm Tuesday-Sunday or visit humanerescuealliance.org/how-to-adopt to learn more.We see lots of sad things at the shelter and this case shocked us. Miracle was abandoned on top of a building that was only accessible by a ladder. Someone put this innocent angel in harm's way. Can you imagine how Miracle felt? We are grateful to the community for alerting us to Mircle's sad situation. We were able to get her, and she was brought right to the medical center as she was terribly thin, covered in wounds and her own waste and she was just very sad. Miracle wasted no time healing up and she is so ready to be adopted by folks that will treat her like a princess! She is a young pup who has so much to give and lots to learn. Can you be the one to show her that there are good people in the world? She deserves only the BEST! Meet this sweetie today.Head to this link to see how we've been responding to Canine Influenza in shelter and working to keep it from spreading in the community!https://www.humanerescuealliance.org/blog/posts/what-you-need-to-know-about-canine-influenza

I'm in a FOSTER HOME! If you want to meet me, you can start the process by emailing my foster parent at:melcjasso@gmail.com to set up a time to virtually meet me.Greetings lovely people! I'm Sasha and not sure how I ended up as a stray but here I am. Since I arrived, everyone keeps telling me that I am such a friendly, sweet girl! I'm a bit thin at the moment but everyone is feeding me great meals to help me get back into shape. I enjoy getting love and pettings and those yummy treats are the best! I've met a few of the other dogs here and they are all pretty nice to me. Are you looking for a good doggie to add to your home and heart? You are?!!? Then, please visit HRA soon and take me home. I'm ready to be your girl.Head to this link to see how we've been responding to Canine Influenza in shelter and working to keep it from spreading in the community!https://www.humanerescuealliance.org/blog/posts/what-you-need-to-know-about-canine-influenza

If you want to adopt me, come to 71 Oglethorpe St. NW between 12-7 pm Tuesday-Sunday or visit humanerescuealliance.org/how-to-adopt to learn more.Everleigh is just a gorgeous miss with such a happy face! She is a beautiful pup with eyes that will look to you for validation. Everleigh arrived at the shelter as a stray, and she was shaking in her boots! Oh my, her confidence was rather low, but we have been telling her she is a good girl and giving her treats and we are starting to see this marvelous flower emerge! What she so wants now is a family that will be kind and gentle and give her some time to settle. And once she does, she will want to be a busy and go for lots of fun, energy burning walkies. Everleigh is easy to love and care for. Please meet her soon!Head to this link to see how we've been responding to Canine Influenza in shelter and working to keep it from spreading in the community!https://www.humanerescuealliance.org/blog/posts/what-you-need-to-know-about-canine-influenza

I'm in a FOSTER HOME! If you want to meet me, you can start the process by emailing my foster parent at mhsg95@gmail.com to set up a time to meet me.Bindy is one of those darling sweeties who sadly has not always known kindness. She arrived at the shelter in terrible shape- skin and bones! She has since been eating well, getting lots of treats, and meal time is her favorite part of the day! She is so appreciative, and we just love her so much. She is learning to enjoy being a dog and is gaining confidence every day. Bindy is a good girl who gets excited to meet and play with other dogs. Bindy is so wonderful that she has become a Volunteer Favorite and they said, "Bindy is perfect! She's a beauty! She's a sweet, compact puppo with super-size love to give. She is just...perfect!" At first she can be very shy and weary, but gentle. Once she is comfortable with you, she is a goofball who loves attention and chewing her toys. She is very smart, loves training, and learning new tricks. Bindy will be happy to be your new best buddy! She is a precious, innocent pooch, and she needs a loving home. Please make a date to visit her soonBe sure to check out Bindy's video!
