Meet Barrett Barrett is a loving, social, and seriously charming boy who is ready for his next chapter! He survived a tough start — arriving at a shelter in Baltimore after being shot and battled pneumonia — but he healed beautifully and never lost his happy, gentle spirit. (And yes, those ice-blue eyes do come with hearing — he hears just fine!) Barrett is: Kid-Friendly Dog-Friendly People-Social (no stranger hesitation) Crate Trained & Well-Mannered Board-and-Train Graduate with continued trainer support included He currently lives with multiple dogs and gets along great with most. One resident dog is not a match for him, and while the home has been managing with structure and training, they want Barrett to have a home where he can fully relax and thrive. Barrett would love: A home with another friendly, well-balanced dog or can be in a home where he can be your one-and-only adventure buddy, he will want to make dog friends, so his family would need to make this a priority! He’s resilient, affectionate, easy to live with, and truly a joy to have around. Interested in adopting Barrett? He’s ready to make your home feel complete. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. Gumbo’s name suits him perfectly — he’s a warm, comforting mix of everything good. This medium-sized pup has had a tough start but is learning every day that life with kind humans is pretty wonderful. He’s shy at first, but his sweet nature shines through as soon as he feels loved. Gumbo is happiest curled up next to his people or following them from room to room. He’s also very food motivated, so training (and treat time) are his favorite moments. He’s gaining weight and confidence, one belly rub at a time. Stay tuned as we learn more about how lovely Gumbo is! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. Brandy is a playful, snugly pup with a heart big enough for everyone she meets. Once surrendered when her family moved, she was heartbreakingly scheduled for euthanasia due to lack of shelter space — but this sweet girl never stopped believing in people. And wow, does she love people! Humans are the very center of her world. Brandy’s days are best spent playing tug, carrying around her beloved piggy toy, and soaking up endless cuddles. Brandy has previously lived with children (ages unknown). Whether you’re up for playtime or a cozy nap, Brandy is always ready. Now she’s looking for a forever family who’ll give her all the love she’s been waiting for — and she’ll happily return it tenfold. 🐾💛 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. Story
Meet Daisy, the "who needs a personal space bubble?" cuddle queen with a heart as big as her 57 -pound frame! This happy-go-lucky girl is a lovable pitbull/bat/cow mix (yes, we’re serious, she’s that cool) who is now 2 years old. She's the best snuggler you could ever ask for—her favorite place is always someone's lap, so if you’re into lap dogs, she’s your girl! Daisy may have a medium energy level, but she’s all about those walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. She’s a tug-of-war champ and — she’s potty trained, and knows a whole bunch of tricks like sit, paw, touch, and down! She’s got those manners down! Daisy loves other dogs, especially if they’re up for some playtime. She is a second dog required which means she has to have a doggy friend at home. She’s good with older kids and would fit right in with an active family who can help her continue her training (she might need a little help with not jumping on humans and polishing her walking skills—no biggie, though!). Daisy had a rough start, ending up at the PG County shelter as a stray and almost losing her chance at a happily ever after. But we couldn’t let that happen, so we swooped in and saved her life. She’s been with us since June 2024, and now she’s ready for a forever home that will love her goofy, joyful self just as much as we do. Could that be with you? -------------------------------------- ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. Meet Sweetie - the absolute sweetest of the bunch! With her tender, hazel eyes and ears as big as can be, Sweetie is known to even stop traffic with how adorable she is. But this girl is not just beauty - she's got the brains as well! Sweetie loves her people and would do well with kids in the home, and though she doesn't live with other dogs, she's had positive interactions with the dogs in her neighborhood! Story
Stella is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Stella is one of the most low maintenance fosters I've ever had the pleasure of helping find a forever home. From being a shy, scared, and timid girl to being confident, secure, and well-mannered, Stella has grown so much in the 2+ years I've known her; although the vacuum cleaner is still enemy #1. Stella has lived in all types of settings: in a busy city, in an apartment, on a quiet street, with dogs, with reactive dogs, and easily adapted to her home environment. She is crate trained and LOVES having a bed in her crate to curl up into a donut while you're at work. She knows every basic command like sit, down, touch, stay and is fully potty trained. Stella's favorite toy is a lambie, or something else that is tiny that she can carry around in her mouth. Once, she took care of an egg for 6 hours before it broke, she's the most gentle creature. Stella is made of love and French fries. There's nothing more that she wants than to be inside with her people, cuddled up on the couch with a show, or playing sous chef in a calm kitchen. She takes awhile to warm up to her people, but with some french fires (her favorite is Burger King), some space, and a bit of patience, she'll love you unconditionally and will likely knock you over from wagging her tail and wiggling so hard with excitement every time she sees you. Although Stella is a perfect girl in the home, on leash, and with other dogs, she is scared of human strangers, especially masculine presenting people, and will need a strong advocate to help keep her safe. If you're looking for a great addition to your calm and cozy life with unconditional love to give, Stella is the gal for you. Stella would do best living with queer folks, a home without cis-gendered men, without cats, and without small children. ATTRIBUTES: Stella has lived in foster with other dogs, but can not go to a home with kids, cats, or cis-gendered men. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. We strive to provide accurate information on all of our animals however, we are unable to guarantee an animal's breed, size, health, behavior, temperament, or any other conditions. Our adoption fees are not inclusive of all vetting / medical care, food, supplies and/or training costs.
