KAI Kai’s former name is Bronx. He’s been dubbed many names over the past couple of months; Bronx, Baby B, B and now his foster is calling him Kai. He is an American Bulldog mix and weighs approx 50 pounds. He came from a 36 dog house and he was approx a 9 month old pup when we pulled him in November. He’s now about 15 months old. He hasn’t always been trustworthy of people, but is doing extremely well in his Foster’s home. He sleeps in bed with them occasionally. ✅ Kennel Trained ✅ Fully Vetted ✅ Housebroken ‼️ LOVES DOGS OF ALL SIZES AND SHAPES ‼️ A MUST is for Kai to have his own built-in best friend - he needs another dog!! He does fine with kids as well. But, he does need an adopter that understands, he may take a minute to decompress in your home. He will not run up to you for warm fuzzies right off the back. It does get better though!! He needs a confident dog to show him the ropes. Story
Tulip came to us from another rescue. She was dumped over their fence on Mother's Day heavily pregnant. She had her babies and they all got adopted but she continues to sit in rescue. The other rescue isn't suited for large breeds, so we've been waiting to get space in SSAR to get her over to us. She is fully vetted and ready for her forever home. She has been in a home with other dogs, and we are evaluating her with cats. She is hw positive, but her treatment is covered by the rescue.

Story
Ash is a stray that showed up at my house at 6 months old. He appears to be a blue nose pit. He is very loving towards kids and adults. He gets along with the dogs he lives with but will show food aggression. He doesnt get along with my neighbors dog and they are both larger breeds and do serious damage. He is mostly house trained but isnt fixed so he will mark. I was diagnosed with leukemia 4 months ago and had to start a 2nd full time job to afford medical bills so Im only home 5 days a month now and unable to watch him and give him the attentionhe needs. He is a big boy and has only been around other small male dogs and a bigger female that is fixed. He needs a good loving home with someone that will have time for him. If interested please feel free to message me. Im willing to bring him or even meet with him.
