Story
Patch was apparently abandoned in our neighborhood and was starving and flea infested. We have been sheltering him for about a month. He is such a sweet natured, affectionate animal (wants to be a lap dog!), that we were tempted to keep him. The reality is that having a dog right now is not possible for us. Although a youngster (veterinarian said 8-9 months), Patch shows great potential in terms of training. He loves other dogs and is not aggressive towards our cats. He is fully house trained, has been wormed and is awaiting an appointment to be neutered. Heart worm test was neg. and he has been started on 3-way preventative. Please consider adopting Patch and giving him the kind, loving guidance that will allow him to grow into his full potential.

Story
We adopted, Thunder when he was about 8 weeks old from the local humane society, he was born in the shelter when his parents were taken into the shelter before the litter was born. He will be 2 years old, March 27th. He was an excellent puppy! He was such an easy to train, well behaved puppy. He's always been incredibly sweet and a big baby. He was crate trained from the start but is not required now and can be trusted inside even if alone and does not have any accidents, nor any destructive behavior at all. He rides in the car and walks on a leash though he can pull some when first start from excitement. He has lived on our farm with other dogs, cats, chickens, livestock and is not aggressive towards them. We have grown children and young teen children and completely trusted with all the family. The decision to rehome him is from our first grandbaby being born and concerning behavior towards the baby, baby crying or if anyone carrying the baby or car seat.

This is Charlie, he is a very sweet, cuddly and clingy boy. He is an outdoor dog so he has had no house training but knows to come and sit (not stay). I haven't been able to give him the love and affection he needs and will impossible now that I am moving. He has been raised with children, another dog and chickens. Has been on long road trips before.

He is such a sweet dog. Not a single aggressive bone in him! He is crate-trained, housebroken, and rarely barks. He has a lot of energy and would thrive in a home with a yard. He is used to running around a larger yard. He is very teachable if you give him the time. We purchased him a week before my husband passed away. I have two smaller, older dogs who dont quite get his energy. He needs lots of love because that is all he wants. He doesnt realize his on strength would be my only precaution. He is a loving boy. I just cant give him what he really deserves.
