She's now in great shape thanks to her Amazing fosters and looking for a family to call her own! Cardi B was born around 8/15/2022 and is about 45 lbs. She loves belly rubs, walks, is house trained, and is learning commands. Ideally, Cardi B would do best as an only pet and in a home with no small kids. She is cautious with anyone unfamiliar but once she is comfortable with you, she loves your attention. Since Cardi B is a medium sized dog, so we like to recommend a home with a fenced in backyard and/or plans for daily exercise and socialization. I have very good house manners but also like to be with my family at all times. I am still a puppy, so I like to go on long runs with my foster mom. I can sit, lay down, and stay. I stay in my kennel when mom is at work or gone from the house. I get along just fine with cats, but I'm not sure about other dogs because I like to be the center of attention. I have been spayed and had some of my shots. I do have an adoption fee. If you are interested in me, there will be a vet and home check. We adopted him from someone who said they were a breeder. He will be 3 years old in January 2025. We are looking for a loving family that can give him the proper attention and care that he needs. He is a very affectionate and playful dog. He can be a little stubborn at times and wants what he wants, but food is a great motivator. He loves water and especially cuddling. She needs to be fed separate from other animals. She is kennel-trained. Freckles would do great in a home with larger dogs but would be a great companion as an only dog. She currently lives with 3 bully mixes and 1 chihuahua mix. Her owner had become homeless and needed to get out of her situation to better her life. Kimber is a pitty rescue from a local shelter. We’ve had her since she was a tiny little puppy. We do not know what she is mixed with. But she sure does have some adorable pointy ears! Kimber turned 5 in January 2024. Kimber is the sweetest dog. She gets along with her brother khaki (also a pitty rescue who is a year older). She’s gentle with our toddler and baby. She loves to cuddle and is very chill when inside. When outside, she enjoys playing, exploring and doing zoomies. She does get timid during walks. But does well with gentle encouragement. She is very food motivated and adores treats and toys she can chew/gnaw on. We’d love for Kimber to go to a home where she’ll get the attention, diversion, exercise and love she deserves. Due to life circumstances, we just can no longer give her what she needs to thrive. In the past Kimber’s been great with other dogs at the park and at day care. Recently, she’s not been socialized much and hasn’t liked meeting new dogs.

Tulip came to us from another rescue. She was dumped over their fence on Mother's Day heavily pregnant. She had her babies and they all got adopted but she continues to sit in rescue. The other rescue isn't suited for large breeds, so we've been waiting to get space in SSAR to get her over to us. She is fully vetted and ready for her forever home. She has been in a home with other dogs, and we are evaluating her with cats. She is hw positive, but her treatment is covered by the rescue.

He was adopted out 2.5 years ago and, by no fault of his own, has made his way back to us. Our microchip company called and stated that he was surrendered to a shelter in Richmond, Missouri. We believe Truman was born around 1/18/22 and is a stunning black with white Boxer/Bully mix. Truman is very sweet, friendly and loving and will make a wonderful addition to almost any home. Truman is a young boy and likes to play with other dogs but we have not had him around cats (if you submit your application, we can cat test). We took Truman to our Amazing Vets because we noticed his tail looks 'wonky'. Well after x-rays, it looks like he has a congenital issue with some of the vertebrae in a couple spots on his tail. This deformity in his tail is not bothering him at all now, but we want to mention that he may need amputation of his tail later in life, if it causes arthritic related problems. Truman is a medium sized dog, so we like to recommend a home with a fenced in backyard and/or plans for daily exercise and socialization.
