If you’re a family or individual looking for a best friend in fun, Marie is your girl! She loves to play fetch, but adores cuddling up with her humans on the couch. Marie loves to be your shadow and follow you around the house, but will sit down at the end of the day to watch you eat your dinner. Everyone who comes into connect with her falls in love. Marie has done really well at doggie daycare and is staff favorite. She would do best with older kids who understand how to give her space when she needs it. She prefers a calmer environment. She is dog selective and there is yet to be a "type" she struggles with. Her friend at daycare is a senior dog. General is such an affectionate boy. He does best with submissive dogs that are close to his size. He loves to go for rides and out for adventures. He plays hard so we do not recommend him for anyone with small children. He is crate and house trained. He sings for his breakfast in the morning and is super cuddly. He is a big lovable gentle giant. He is a fave with all the volunteers here at CCAA.

Loli is a loving and very gentle girl that has had a hard past. She and her sister Taffy were dumped at a car wash in Byron with a container of food. She has been bred a lot and someone did a horrible job cropping her ears. Still, her gentle soul shines through. She is happiest when she is close to you. She is low energy but does play. Her favorite game is taking all the balls out of the ball pit. She would do best as an only dog. She has little patience for active dogs. She is crate trained. You could not ask for a more affectionate dog that loves to meet people everywhere she goes.

I am having the hardest time picking my favorite picture. Sterling did such a great job posing and showing off his cute personality. The hardest part is to show just how small this sweet boy is. Sterling is about six years old, neutered, microchipped, and current on all his shots. He is now heartworm negative and feeling much better. Now that he is off the predisone from heartworm treatment, his foster mom hopes he will make progress on his crate training. Sterling is very loyal and loving. He wants to be with his person and his person be all about him. He weighs about 58 pounds. To meet him is to fall in love with him. Please pm us your email address for an adoption application.

Colby is a bit shy when you first meet him but he is so very affectionate and sweet. He has lots of energy and loves playtime and just spending time with you. He is crate trained and excellent on a leash. He loves outdoor adventures, rides in the car, and spending time with his humans. Colby has little tolerance for loud or pushy behavior so would do best in a home with low energy female dogs and without small children. When he gets attached to a person, he is in for life.

Helga is a 4 year old English Bulldog and weighs 38 pounds. This girl LOVES her toys, especially her tennis balls! Her favorite thing in the world is playing with her foster dad, especially playing tug or stalking her tennis balls. Helga also loves to cuddle and get scratches, and she can be the sweetest, funniest girl! Helga really doesn't like being in a crate, but she is completely housetrained and has never torn anything up. She does not get crated in her foster home, and she does very well. Helga has some behavioral issues that are being worked on with her veterinarian, her trainer, and her foster family and will need a home that does not have children and has experience with the English Bulldog breed. She has had surgery to correct her Brachycephalic Airway Syndrome and is in excellent health.

Bear is about 3 years old. He was adopted as a puppy at 12 weeks old from another rescue. He grew up in same home as an inside dog. Then a family member moved in with the family who was afraid of dogs. So bear was owner Surrendered to a kill shelter . Days away from euthanasia we took him in and he was safe. As we always do scared him for a chip and found he had one😔 I contacted the previous owner and wanted to know if he knew Bear was in the shelter. Sad part was he put him there 😩. This boy is the sweetest precious baby ever. He is house trained doggie door trained and even recliner trained. Bear deserves a human and home that won’t fail him again.
