Story
Introducing Chloe, the spirited 7-year-old rescue terrier with a heart as big as her 70-pound frame. This lovable canine companion is a cherished member of her foster family. With a zest for life, Chloe's favorite pastime is embracing the great outdoors, where she can be found either playfully frolicking in the grass, basking in the sun, or on her favorite spot - the cozy couch. Chloe is a well-mannered, house-trained beauty, adored for her affinity for both adventure and relaxation. She's a pro at the art of lounging but equally enthusiastic about exploring new places, especially if it involves a thrilling car ride. Her kennel-trained demeanor showcases her discipline and intelligence, making her a delight to be around. One of Chloe's most endearing qualities is her love for company, especially when it comes to puppies - she joyfully engages in playtime, demonstrating her gentle nature. This sweet girl has a special fondness for other dogs, particularly those who are more submissive. A meet-and-greet with potential furry friends is recommended, as Chloe's gentle nature truly shines in the company of like-minded companions. Nothing brings out her contentment more than belly rubs and the warmth of a caring hand. Chloe's boundless affection and playful spirit make her not just a pet but a cherished family member, reminding everyone lucky enough to know her that rescue dogs like her have an extraordinary capacity for love and happiness. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative & on preventatives, spayed, & microchipped. She is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX.

Story
If you are looking for a dog that is easy going, easy to maintain and does NOT need alot of activity...THIS is your girl. If you are a single or retired adult that would like to have a dog for companionship...THIS is your girl. If you are not that active of a person but want a dog and not much time for excessive walks or stimulation and you just want the companionship of a dog...THIS is your girl. Stormy's is a mature girl but is so much fun and full of nothing but wiggles and love. She takes treats gently and is easy to leash up. Stormy is always eager to just hang out, she is a pretty calm dog. She would do best in an adult only or retired home or one with older kids. Stormy can be adopted separately, but she does have a male dog friend we are trying to adopt as a Bonded Pair if you are interested. Stormy is ready to go to her new home, she is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, crate trained & housebroke. For more information call or text 208-509-7245

Story
We Rescued Diana Halloween in 2021. She was less than 2 years then. We originally got her for Bruce, our Bully / bulldog mix. We had a previous dog that passed away, that he was bonded with. They bonded and things were going great. We had a baby in 2024. Diana has not been able to make that adjustment with a new little person in the house. With being said she no longer got along with the other dogs. We recommend no other pets and no small children that can't respect a dog's boundaries. She is an energetic dog. Loves to play and go on adventures. She is extremely loving and loves snuggles. She is very smart and knows the basic commands sit, stay, place, and heal. She is crate trained and is good in vehicles and on leash. She is a protective dog.

Story
If there is a clown in the house it would be Coco. She is the spunkiest & silliest little Pocket Pitti around. Zoomies are a daily occurrence, and she absolutely LOVES to snuggle afterwards. Coco walks well on a leash, loves to play ball, LOVES playing in the sprinkler & thinks the snow is the best thing ever. Coco would do best in an adult only home or one with high school age kids and as an only pet. She is already spayed and up to date on vaccines, she is microchipped, crate trained and housebroke. Story
Tiny and Marlie are very gentle and good-natured dogs that we would love to see adopted together if possible. Both are cuddlers although Marlie prefers to lay on top of you rather than to the side. They are both such sweethearts and love people. They're good with kids. With new people and situations, however, Marlie is a little timid at first. These youngsters are super playful and love toys, treats, and bones. Tiny lives to play tug-of-war or keep-away and his favorite toys are ropes. Marlie is content with a chew and a shade tree. They are both treat-motivated. Once, their temporary foster mom took them to a park where there were other dogs and while Marlie was a bit standoffish, she didn't act like she minded the other animals. In the temporary foster home they did not get along with the senior Pitty but were okay with the other dogs. It is hard to say if they will do best with just the two of them or be fine with another friendly, confident dog of middle age. Marlie walks with a hunch in her back like maybe she sustained an injury at some point that wasn’t treated. The landlord at the apartment where they came from said there was a time when she didn't get around much and seemed like she hurt her "rear leg or something". Tiny stayed at her side the entire time. These two are a bonded pair, not siblings, but they love each other dearly. From what we were told, their prior owner tried to separate them at one point and they both did poorly. They are very attached to each other. That being said, the situation was already less than ideal, and they probably needed each other to cope. They can go to separate fosters if needed, but after the trauma and abandonment they have endured, we would love to keep them together. They absolutely love car rides and behave wonderfully. They have great leash manners. They get along with the cats in their home. Both are estimated to be about one year old at the beginning of July, 2024. They are in our satellite foster group in the Salt Lake City area. Story
Ralphie is the most resilient boy ever. He is also the sweetest. Everyone who meets him can’t get enough of him. He is such a lover. Likes playing with toys and friends or just being next to you. He always seems to have a smile on his face. Ralphie is great with kids and most animals but has has had some bad interactionz\s with skittish cats. Ralphie has had a very difficult past and is ready to start a new and better life. But even in his past life he was very well known by the community and very loved by them all. Everyone would always have treats ready for him when he went for his walk around to say hello to them. Thanks to them for stepping in and getting him to safety. Ralphie story is long and will be discussed more via phone or when you meet him. Ralphie is said to be 5 years old. We figure he is some kind of bully or bully mix. Ralphie is crate trained, leash trained, and house trained. If you are interested in Ralphie please fill out the pre adoption application on link below. HTTPS://linktr.ee/northernstardogrescue
