Story
Charlie is an 11-month-old Lab/Bully breed mix with a big heart to match his big, handsome smile. This sweet, goofy boy loves being around people and enjoys making new dog friends wherever he goes. At just over 65 pounds, Charlie is a strong, playful young dog who is still very much a puppy at heart. Charlie is fully vetted and potty trained. He has been working hard on his basic commands and leash manners and is making great progress, but he will do best with an adopter who is committed to continuing his training and helping him grow into a well-mannered adult dog. Charlie is currently living in a Boise foster home where he has done well with cats and enjoys having animal companions. He would thrive in an active home that can give him structure, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving companion who is eager to learn and bond with his family, Charlie may be the perfect match for you.

Story
Adoption or Temporary Foster Once Pups are Born Needed – Delta Dawn (Pregnant Mama) Name: Delta Dawn Breed: Pit mix Age: Approximately 2 years Status: Owner surrender • Pregnant (due any time) Delta Dawn has been through more in two years than most dogs should face in a lifetime. She was stolen from her owner last year, then later found after her foot became caught in a jaw trap. Animal Control freed her and rushed her to the vet—where it was discovered she was pregnant and nearly full term. Her owner was located, but heartbreakingly could not keep her due to Delta becoming dog-selective and not tolerating female dogs. However, this could be situational due to her pregnancy. Wanting what was safest for Delta and her unborn pups, her owner made the difficult decision to surrender her. Despite everything she’s endured, Delta Dawn remains a gentle, loving soul. About Delta Dawn Very mellow, affectionate “velcro dog” who just wants love Housebroken Appears to know basic commands and sits nicely for treats Wonderful manners indoors Pulls a bit on leash but is easy to manage Gravitate toward other dogs, but currently being kept separate due to advanced pregnancy Dog selective (no female dogs recommended) however this may change after she births her pups. She is incredibly sweet, people-oriented, and simply wants a safe place to rest and deliver her babies. Temporary Foster Needed (Mama + Puppies) We urgently need a temporary foster for Delta Dawn and her pups once they are born. This would only be short-term, from delivery until sometime between the 10th and the 24th, when Delta already has placement lined up with another rescue. However—if Delta Dawn finds her forever home before then, that placement can instead go to another pregnant mama in need. Supplies and support will be provided. Adoption Also Considered If Delta Dawn finds an adopter or forever foster now, it would change everything—not just for her, but for other dogs waiting behind her. She deserves stability, softness, and a family of her own after everything she’s survived. How to Help To foster or adopt Delta Dawn, please apply through: Friends Furever Animal Rescue Friends Furever Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Foster applications and adoption applications can be submitted through the rescue. If you can open your home—even temporarily—please step forward. Pregnant mamas are among the most vulnerable dogs in rescue, and Delta Dawn urgently needs a safe landing place.

Story
INTRODUCING PIPPI Pippi is a sweet, loving 8-month-old Lab/Pit mix ready to find her furever home through PAWS Rescue Inc. She had a rough start, spending over a month alone in Parma, Idaho as a stray. With no shelter in the area, she was posted for her stray hold but no owner came forward. Once she was rescued she quickly learned what safety, warmth, and a full belly feel like. Since moving into her foster home, Pippi has truly blossomed. Though timid at first, she’s gained confidence, learned that gentle hands mean love, and discovered that belly rubs are the best thing ever. She adores kids and has formed an adorable bond with the resident kitty. Pippi loves playtime and enjoys romping with her foster siblings, so a playful canine friend would be a great match. She is incredibly gentle, submissive, and has shown no aggression. She is potty trained, has excellent recall, and learns quickly, though she’s still a puppy who needs guidance with appropriate chewing. A fenced yard would be ideal, but regular walks and dog park adventures would also keep her happy. Pippi is a devoted, soulful girl looking for a patient, loving family to help her continue growing into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.

Zora has such a sweet approach to staff and will sit by them for treats and attention with the upmost politeness. Some of her talents include walking well on a leash and snuggling up in her big blanket! Zora would love to go on walks or enjoy a movie night...either works for her! With a gentle approach, Zora would fit right into home life with older kids and potentially other large dogs. Bring them in to meet her!

Story
Hi there! I’m Clara Bell 💁‍♀️🐾 I made my way to CAC through animal control, so my friends here are still getting to know all my likes and dislikes—but one thing’s already clear: I’m a happy, bright girl with a lot of love (and personality) to give. I’d really shine in a home that enjoys consistent training, long walks, and spending quality time together. Structure helps me feel confident, and once I’ve got that, I’m all smiles and tail wags. Now, let’s talk about the important stuff: fashion. I love a friend with a good eye for style. I enjoy striking a pose, working the camera, and I have absolutely impeccable taste in bark. Statement collars? Seasonal accessories? I’m in. If you’re looking for a walking partner, a training buddy, and a four-legged fashion icon who’s ready to learn and glow up with you—I might just be your girl. 💖🐶
