Story
This stunning little lady is Zuri! The sweetest wiggle-butt, the most caring and loving girl, Zuri lives and breathes love. She’s great with kids, cats, and dogs, and so people-friendly. We suspect Momma Zuri to be a Pittie mix around 4 years old. She has those adorable big-baby-Staffie eyes, and all of the wiggles that just scream “pittie!” She is a rescue so her exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed. Zuri weighs in at 60 pounds, but she’s mindful of her size and careful not to knock into legs or knock over children. Fall in love with Zuri here: https://youtu.be/J7iGU9kNbO0 Zuri loves toys and treats, head scritches and long naps on the couch. This sweet girl has a taste for all of the finer things in life, and she so deserves them. Zuri is extremely loving, this baby greets everyone with tail wags and kisses. She recognizes her favorite people here at the rescue and gets so excited when they enter a room, wiggling around and nosing at their legs for attention. With kids, Zuri is so polite, kind and attentive. She’s a total snuggle-bug too, she’ll hop right up on the couch with you and get right into your lap. She gives great kisses, she’s just such a charming girl! With other dogs, Zuri can be a little bit dominant, and may be best suited to a home with more submissive playmates. She’s a vocal player, pittie through and through, it can sound a little concerning at first, but it’s all in good fun for her! With cats, Zuri is disinterested and happy to simply coexist. She was cat-tested here at the rescue, her cat-test can be seen in her video! Zuri has learned a lot since arriving at the rescue, she’s getting better on leash every day and she’s learning a variety of basic commands! So far she knows “sit,” “down,” and “paw,” and she’s learning “crawl.” Zuri is so smart and easy to train, she’s incredibly food motivated and she picks up on new information and patterns quickly. Here at the rescue, she doesn’t have accidents in the house, and she’s quiet and calm in her crate. Zuri isn’t too picky about her forever home, she just hopes to find it soon! Zuri is calm and loving, and could live in an apartment with proper daily exercise and potty-breaks. Zuri is people-focused enough to flourish as an only-dog, but good enough with dogs and cats to fit into your pack. She loves kids so much, and would be over the moon to be a family dog. Zuri can’t wait to meet her forever family, and soak up all the love. We are willing to test this dog with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Please email Leah.smith@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco  • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
Millie is a toy-lover, with a winning smile, who comes in last in nearly every game of chase, but still is enthusiastically always ready to try it again. The thing is, she is a tri-paw’d, but a game of chase perfectly sums up her approach to everything- there is no reason three legs means she is going to miss out on the fun! Basically, it is such an afterthought, it does not affect her at all. In fact, I'll say it, if she had all four legs she would be the constant winner of chase or any other game she played, but between us, I think she is meant for the home life anyway. See her sweetness in motion then come back to read more about her https://youtu.be/i3JTYw9HZnM I'll give you a little head start to her heart- it's with scratchies! Start behind her ears and then work your way down her back, this is about where she will likely plop and roll over for the belly rub. A basic ear-scratch, especially on the side where she is minus the good ear-scratching leg, works like *chefs kiss! We introduced Millie to other dogs and she is a great playmate! Her energy is fun loving, with a touch of rough-and-rowdy if the other dog is receptive to it, and of course- she loves a game of chase. A friendly, playful dog who understands that taking breaks to lay in the shade is the best part of playing together would be a great fit for Millie. At the same time, Millie would be over-the-moon to be your one and only as long as you promise to give her a few good toys to toss around and attempt to defluff. She is an absolute toy-lover, squeaky, fluffy, crunchy, absolutely all of them will be her favorite! The love doesn’t stop with dogs, she loves her people! She is great on leash and loves being by your side for walks around the block or a weekend hike. Ill let you know now, she is striking and pretty magnetic so be prepared to have more than a few spontaneous conversations about her. An ideal home for Millie has only one “restriction” she isn’t a cat girl. I heard she got swatted so bad as a puppy she could never get over it. Either way, her love of chase does not translate in cat-language- they hate it and us people tend to hate the chaos that comes with that. Small thing given all the fun and love this girl will bring to your life. If you're looking for a gorgeous, all around fun loving girl, Millie is available and adoptable. Love aplenty, memories galore, and so many adventures await with this girl. Make her yours! If you are interested or have any questions about the adoption process or we can answer any questions to help you know if she is the one for you please email katiak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org Adoption Application: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65e8b899b449bdc27f007de4 Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Story
Yoshi is a rescue dog, he was found in Ontario and we adopted him a year and a half ago. He is sweet and snuggly, but gets a little territorial with my young children, so unfortunately I need to find a new home to hopefully love him as much as we do. We got him microchipped, vaccinated and neutered when we got him, and at that appointment they said that based on his teeth he was around 2 years old. So he would be about 3 and a half years old now.

I have this incredible knack for melting hearts - being loved on and getting attention are my absolute favorite pastimes. Whether it's belly rubs, ear scratches, or simply a warm embrace, count me in! I'm your go-to cuddle buddy, ready to fill your days with wagging tails and affectionate glances. And guess what? With a pocketful of treats and a heart full of eagerness, I'm all set to master even more tricks and show off my brilliance.I'm on the lookout for a family that understands the language of love and the art of bonding. My loyalty knows no bounds, and I'm here to be your constant companion through thick and thin. If you're looking for a furry friend who's ready to embrace every moment with you, let's create memories together. Story
Foster Location: Boise ID Age: Approximately 3 years old Breed: American Pitbull Mix Size: 75 pounds Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped Adoption fee: $75 DO NOT email us, you must fill out an application if interested: Adoption Application: https://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Kenny's human died unexpectedly and a friend reached out to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue for help. This super sweet boy was sad and timid for the first 24 hours in his foster home, but his personality bloomed in a very short period of time. He greets his foster mom at the door with hops and spins, so happy she's home. He is the most wonderful, loving boy who enjoys movie nights and cuddling. He has a soft mouth when taking treats, and loves being the good boy. He sits, lays down, and will stay as long as the human doesn't leave the room. He tolerates the cat playing with his tail, and an intrusive puppy who herds and bullies him, with the grace and patience of a Saint. Kenny has great energy at the dog park meeting new dogs. He plays nicely with others and gets the zoomies when the sprinklers come on. He's down for any adventure including walks, visits to the lake and rivers, car rides, and camping. He prefers to hold the couch down, and just hanging out with his humans. He hasn't chewed on anything not given to him. Kenny is patient with young and older children, but will leave the room, or go to his bed, when he's overwhelmed. Kenny does pull on the leash for walks but responds well to a halty. He's good for about a mile during cooler nights, then he tires out and is ready to head home. He is afraid and will hide from loud noises. He will leave the area if a lawn mower or vacuum are running. If you are looking for an around bestest boy – Kenny is it!
