Story
🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾Bennie🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾🏐🐾 Bennie came to us at the very end of 2022 with his buddy who has already been adopted. Both were intentionally starved by their previous “owner” so they ending up at Sherman Animal Shelter needing rescue. He came to us skin and bones at 32lbs but he has completed his refeeding process and is now a healthy 60lbs! He is now fully vaccinated and neutered and is ready for his forever family! Bennie is an adult male estimated to be 5 years old. He is dog friendly with proper introductions and incredibly sweet. He has lots of energy and enjoys being outdoors. His foster mama says he's made a ton of progress with her, and that he's just a big baby! He knows to wait until he's released for his food, has amazing recall, and loves going on walks and runs. Bennie is a big snuggler who loves his chew toys and tennis balls! Bennie Facts ⬇️ • 65 lbs • Vaccinated and neutered • Needs an experienced foster or adopter • Needs continued socialization • NO cats right now • Loves tennis balls 🎾 📝 Adoption Application: https://form.jotform.com/secondchancespetsanctuarytx/Second-Chances-Adoption-Application

LIMITED TIME ONLY! ADOPTION FEE HAS BEEN SPONSORED! Hi, my name is Koa! I have deformed bowed legs from being crated all my life and a knee injury! I need a TPLO surgery but due to my bowed legs I was told I am not a candidate for surgery at this time. I am the sweetest boy who would protect you to no end. 🩵🩵 I love to know I have a bit of freedom & have done so much better with open space. I am content by myself but would much rather have human company near me at all times. I do love my fosters large breed dogs. I am unsure how I would do with small animals. Due to prey drive I cannot be adopted to a home with small animals. I LOVE to lick! As you can tell my feet are stained, due to licking so much. I am not a huge fan of actual toys. Just things I can constantly lick & chew. My digestive system isn’t the greatest, but I finally have normal bowel movements! 😄😄 I would love to have bones, cow hooves or pig ears but unfortunately, I can’t process them like I should be able to ☹️. My Kong toy has become my all-time fav now!! I am on prescription dry food. I love to go on car rides! One of my foster’s coworkers brought it to her attention that I’d be a great fit for a truck driver!! I have a hard time with separation from people or my foster siblings. If you’re with me, I can go 4-5 hours without having to go outside. I love all humans & all I ever want are belly rubs or a scratch under my ears & collar. ❤️ I’d be best as an only dog, but with a very slow introduction it is possible to have other siblings.

Story
🖤 Draco is ready for his forever 🖤 Draco isn’t only the loyal dog everybody wants, but he is determined to be your best friend for life no matter what. Dogs never seem to fail humans but yet so many are failed by owners. Draco is ready to have a furever home where he won’t be failed! Draco is a great dog who loves to snuggle on the couch with his person and give you plenty of kisses. He enjoys running outside and playing with his abundance of toys. He also enjoys a big backyard to run in when he gets the zoomies. Unfortunately many would look past him because of his coloring, but I think it makes him stand out even more. I have truly enjoyed taking care of this precious soul, he is such a joyful dog and will make someone very happy! He is hard of hearing so when you want to get his attention I either squeak a toy or I wave to him to come. This treat motivated boy will make the perfect dog for someone who is willing to give him the chance he needs. Check out his videos in the comments! Quick facts ⬇️ •5 year old male pitbull •Dog friendly; cats unknown •Fully vaccinated, microchipped, and fixed •Hearing impaired •Energetic and loves jolly balls •Loves to snuggle 📝 Foster application: https://form.jotform.com/secondchancespetsanctuarytx/Second-Chances-Foster-Application 📝 Adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/secondchancespetsanctuarytx/Second-Chances-Adoption-Application 📍 Currently being temp fostered in Loganville, GA Foster or adopter in the Midwest needed! Story
A kind animal lover is sponsoring Lucky's adoption fee, which means it is $0 to adopt!🐾 Meet Lucky 🐾Lucky is proof that love is a language all on its own. This sweet pitbull (on the smaller side at about 30–40 lbs) just wants to be close to his people. 💖 Touch is his love language—if you’re nearby, Lucky will be right there soaking up every bit of affection. 🥰He’s dog-friendly 🐕 and has spent much of his life with his best friend, Chloe. While they used to be a bonded pair, we haven't had any interest in them being adopted together - so they're now available individually in hopes of finding each of them their perfect home they deserve.Lucky is a loyal, gentle soul who simply wants a cozy spot next to someone who loves him back. He's ready to start his next chapter with a family who will give him the care, love, and attention he's been waiting for. 💕If you’re ready to open your heart and home, Lucky is waiting for you. 🏡🐾

Story
💗 Meet Bonnie 💗Bonnie is a beautiful pitbull with the goofiest personality once she feels safe. She doesn’t know how beautiful and sweet she truly is, but those who spend time with her can see it right away.Bonnie is very shy around men, and we don’t know what her past looked like to make her feel this way. What we do know is that she deserves to learn that not all people are the same, and that there are gentle, kind men in the world. Because of this, Bonnie will need a patient, understanding family—or possibly a female-only household—where she can grow at her own pace. She’s already shown us how loving she can be with women, though she’s still a little timid at first. With time, patience, and encouragement, we know her confidence will blossom. Even if you aren’t able to adopt, coming in to meet Bonnie and showing her kindness can help her take another step toward trusting again.Bonnie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find the family who will give her the love she has been waiting for. 💕🐾
