Story
Miss Devine came to me from almost being euthanized. She did have to have dental work so she does not have a whole bunch of teeth left. She is not cat friendly. She does take a while to warm up to other dogs. She needs a dog that is very low energy and non-reactive. She is on medicine for her and anxiety and pain.

Story
Charlie is a 6-year-old pit bull/heeler mix that I took in from a friend at 1-years-old. Charlie loves pets, chasing his ball, and will insist on going out with you when you take the trash out! He is a loving, cuddly boy that will be a lap dog if you let him. He does well with a chihuahua who runs the house and has enjoyed playing with other dogs without incident in the past. He loves to chew on squeaky toys, but his main goal is to rip the stuffing out. He will eat toilet paper as a substitute, so you’ll have to watch out for him sneaking off for a snack! He’s had some tummy and skin sensitivities, but has done well with being on a sensitive kibble. He knows sit and could likely be trained for other basic commands. We are looking to rehome him due to recently bringing a baby home and not having the time to give him that he deserves. He is curious of the baby and wants to be near her, but I have not seen his interactions with older children.

Max is building confidence and is looking for a patient home that will let him take things at his own pace! He has lived with other dogs before and would do best in a home with older children. Max is potty trained and food motivated. With time and patience, this sweet boy will truly blossom!

Buzz is all play! This big boy is strong, energetic, and always ready to go all in. He loves to tussle around and would be thrilled to have a doggy playmate who can keep up with him. Some basic training would be a great idea to help him learn to channel all that excitement. He’d do best with kids who are comfortable with his rowdy play style. Buzz is looking for an active home where he can run, play, and be his goofy self. He’s one special buddy!

Story
I`ve done well with kids and lived with dogs in my foster home and did very well! I am a goofy, friendly boy! I also know tricks such as `sit` and `lay down`. My ideal home would let me be a couch potato with some pets and snacks here and there. I enjoy meeting people and sleep through the night in my kennel!

Story
Hi, I'm Gracie! 2 year old | APBT Mix | 45 lbs  I was confiscated from a neglect/hoarding situation with several other dogs. We had to compete for basic necessities like food and water, but despite everything, I've remained a sweet, happy girl who's ready to leave that chapter behind. Now it's my turn to discover what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family! Sweet and affectionate Happy, bubbly personality Energetic and playful Has lived with other dogs Ready to learn and start fresh Because of my background, I'll likely need a little guidance with potty training and house manners. Thankfully, I'm still young, and with a consistent routine, patience, and positive reinforcement, I should catch on in no time! I have lived with other dogs my entire life, so with proper introductions, we expect I'll do well with another dog. Because we sometimes had to compete over limited resources like food and water, it's recommended to supervise me around meals and high-value treats while I learn that there's always enough to go around and I never have to fight for those things again. I'm expected to do well with respectful children! I'm not the biggest fan of kitties, so I'd do best in a home without felines!.   One thing my future family should know is that I have some skin irritation from the environment I came from. The good news is that I'm already being treated, and it's expected to continue improving now that I'm receiving proper care. I may also benefit from a quality salmon-based food or a skin and coat supplement to help keep my skin healthy as I continue to heal. I've already overcome so much, and now all I need is someone willing to give me the fresh start I've always deserved. I promise I'll spend the rest of my life showing you just how grateful I am.   Spayed, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee has been FULLY SPONSORED, thanks to a generous family. $0 to adopt for applicants with an approved application!   If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well! If it's a match, you can your new dog home the same day. We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!    See all of our adoptable pets here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/adoptable-dogs-and-cats Adoption Hours: Monday & Saturday 11am-4pm | Tuesday & Friday 11am-5pm | Wednesday 11am-6pm | Thursday & Sunday CLOSED ##2794799##
