Miley is a beautiful, affectionate, and eagertoplease girl who is ready for a fresh start with someone who can give her the confidence, structure, and love she deservesan guide her, train her, and help her thrive.
Personality & Temperament
Miley is the perfect blend of active and calm. She loves to run, explore, and play, but she also settles beautifully and enjoys curling up for snuggles. She’s a lap dog, a kisser, and a dog who genuinely wants to bond with her person.
She can be shy with new people, especially when they enter her home, and may give a low vocal tones to express uncertainty. With a confident leader, she blossoms quickly.

Ideal Home
Miley will shine in a home that offers:
A strong, confident leader who can help her feel safe
A fenced yard — she loves to run and explore
Another dog companion (or even a cat) — she prefers having a buddy
A patient adopter who understands that shy dogs need time to warm up
An active lifestyle with room for play, walks, and mental stimulation
Her behavior around children and cats is unknown, simply because she hasn’t been exposed to them.
Why You’ll Love Her
Miley is one of those dogs who gives her whole heart once she trusts you. She is loyal, affectionate, expressive, and incredibly willing to learn. She wants to do the right thing — she just needs someone who can show her how.
With the right person, Miley will be the kind of dog who sticks by your side, celebrates your victories, and curls up with you at the end of the day. She is ready to be someone’s best friend.
The suggested adoption donation for Miley is $250, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees.

We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.
