Mia has officially entered her cozy Christmas sweater era ❄️She’s a gentle, sweet soul (despite her serious face) who feels safe with her people and settles in easily once she knows she’s loved. Her holiday wish is pretty simple: a forever home to call her own. She’d make December—and every month after—a whole lot brighter. 🐾✨Mia at a glance:• 🎂 Age: 4 years old• ⚖️ Weight: ~50 lbs• 🩺 Vetting: Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped• 🏠 Home skills: Crate and potty-trained with excellent house manners• 🐶 Dogs: Still learning that dogs can be friends again; slow integration would be needed (still pretty new to rescue) • 🐱 Cats: Cat-friendly• 🚗 Car rides: Excellent passengerPlease check out our adoption process & on-line application here: https://www.newhopepetrescue.com/Adoption Fee for dogs cover the following vetting:1. Story
Hawk & Lynx are a bonded pair, brother and sister. They were found roaming the streets of Saginaw, MI. They then were taken to the local shelter before going into a program through the Michigan Department of Corrections. There, they had daily training to become service dogs. Lucky for us, Hawk and Lynx did not pass their final test. Lynx likes to lick and Hawk can be a bit stubborn. They were then adoptable and came to be part of our family for the last 5 years. They are the best dogs. They are the best of friends and must stay together. They're amazing with children, and will alert you to a babies cry or need. They're gentle, sweet, and so loving. They love to play and run with each other. They haven't had much experience with a leash but they are quick learners.
