Story
Rye Bread came from a neglectful home where he was tied outside and escaped often. When returned to his owner, they said they were moving soon and could not keep him. Fearing he would be dumped, my husband and I took him in. Unfortunately, we have two elderly dogs that want nothing to do with him, so he has to be kept separately. Rye wants nothing more than to be next to his human. He deserves a home and family of his own. He has loved everyone he's met, but he can be a little shy with new men. He is ready for a home that will give him plenty of exercise and a lap to cuddle in after a day of playing. He is young, and still learning his own strength, so he would do best in a home without young children. We have learned that Rye has barrier aggression, so he needs to be introduced to animals carefully and cannot meet new people through a fence. Rye does not have an adoption fee, but any interested party will need to be vetted.

Story
Introducing Scooby -- Your Loyal Adventure Buddy in Waiting! A quote from one of Scooby's volunteer walkers: "Scooby and I have built a really special bond - such a good, well-behaved boy with a heart of gold. He can be a little slow to trust new people, but once you earn his trust, you've got a loyal best friend for life."Scooby has great leash manners and enjoys calm, peaceful settings. Busy areas with loud noises or big crowds can make him a bit nervous, but he truly thrives on quiet trails or in a fenced play yard where he can just be himself. On the trails, Scooby's favorite pastime is stick hunting -- and not just any stick...the biggest one he can find! In the play yard, he lights up playing fetch, splashing in the kiddie pool, or (his favorite combo) fishing tennis balls out of the water.Outdoors, he's all about adventure and exploration. Indoors, he switches gears and loves his cuddle time and gentle pets. Scooby knows his basic tricks and is always eager to show them off for a tasty treat.Because he can be sensitive to sudden movements and noise, an adults-only home (or one with calm, older teens) would be best. He's never shown any aggression -- just a bit of shyness that melts away once he feels safe. Give him a week, and he'll be your shadow and your biggest fan.Scooby's Ideal Home: -Calm, quiet environment with Scooby as the only pet -Adults or older teens - Fenced yard or access to nature trails - Someone who enjoys both playtime and snugglesScooby deserves a loving home where he can build trust at his own pace and be celebrated for the sweet, loyal, and playful dog he is. If you're looking for a gentle soul who'll be your adventure buddy and your snuggle partner, Scooby's your guy! Interested in meeting Scooby? Story
Introducing Braxton -- the sweetest slow-walker with the softest heart! This lovable guy is all about connection. On walks, Braxton will sit down often just to ask for scratches, treats, and a little extra attention from his human. He strolls slowly, takes his time, and loves turning his walks into bonding moments. He's wonderfully calm out in the world -- curious and observant when he sees other dogs or kids playing nearby, but he doesn't bark or react. He just watches with those big, thoughtful eyes of his. This adorable boy wiggles all over with joy when he meets people. Braxton does get excited and may hop up for affection, so he'd do best with older kids who don't mind a little enthusiastic love.
