Meet Jet, the cutest and youngest puppy at our shelter! This little guy loves to fetch tennis balls and play tug o' war! Although he's not one to turn down a toy, he prefers smaller ones so he can carry them around in his mouth. Say goodbye to difficult vet visits because he also makes quite the lap puppy and is well mannered when it comes to car rides and going to the vet. He's young enough that he would be a fantastic candidate for training, just don't forget the treats! Jet would really like to spend his first year in a home instead of growing up in a shelter. If you're looking for a young puppy that's eager to play and learn, Jet is the right dog for you. If you are an American Bully fan, meet Hobi. Hobi is still a young dog with his birth date being estimated as November 2023. Hobi is a big bubba who wants to play and eat treats all day. Ropes and squeaky toys are his favorites. He is super playful, energetic, and loves to give kisses. Hobi was an inside and outside dog before he came to HSCC and was crate trained. A fence is preferred. He knows the commands sit, stay, and shake. He is being trained so an experienced dog owner would be a good fit. This female dog was abandoned and showed up starving around 2/1/25. The dog is now very healthy, spayed, and up to date on shots. Some people have estimated her age at around 5. This dog is very friendly with people (including children) but is not friendly with small dogs, cats, squirrels, raccoons or birds. She seems to get along better with larger dogs. The dog has lots of energy and the ideal place for her is somewhere with room to run, maybe a farm or ranch. The dog is very playful and loves to swim. I live in an HOA and can no longer keep the dog due to HOA rules. This dog would make a really good guard dog. She needs a good home with room to run.

When  Cookie  came to the shelter her fur was stained from having so many fleas! She was SO hungry and gobbled her food up wh ole!  With a few baths  and the right nutrition she is starting to look like a completely different dog than when she arrived.!! Cookie  is a young 2 year old female terrier mix, all cleaned  up and looking for her new forever home!! She is a happy, playful girl who is affectionate and eager to please!! Shelter Visiting Hours are Mon-Fri from 1 to 4:30, and by appt on Sat from 10 to 1.March 8, 2026, 4:37 pm
