Story
Juno was rescued from a local kill shelter. She had an entropion(cherry) eye when we rescued her and needed surgery and later, she tore her ACL and needed surgery to repair. She has healed from both surgeries. Juno is such a sweet girl who loves to give kisses and snuggle on a couch with her people. Juno is crate trained, but she doesn't have to be once she is used to a home. She is house trained. She prefers to sleep on a dog bed or the couch. Juno loves to play and run with her best doggy friend in the rescue, Laurel. She knows some basic obedience such as sit. Juno has been around children and multiple dog,but she can be dog selective. She has been around some cats, she did not react.other than to be curious. She is a happy girl that rides well in a car and she gets excited getting to go. Juno is a silly girl with a fun loving personality!

Story
Laurel is a gorgeous, playful, fun dog that loves to hang out with her best dog friend Juno (available for adoption, too!) Laurel is a big girl who does not realize she is not a lap dog! She loves to snuggle and get belly rubs from her caretakers. She would make a wonderful companion for someone that wants a furry best friend. She rides well in cars and gets excited getting to 'go'. Laurel is friendly to most dogs with the exception of dogs that are dominant or small dogs.

Story
**Fenced Yard Required**Dixie Chick is an adorable and sweet girl! She likes to show off her wiggle butt when she's being silly! She's strong and active, but is also very affectionate. She has been in a foster home and they said ""she will make a wonderful addition to a home with a big family, children, but no other dogs or cats. She has an extremely loving personality to everyone and really does think she is lap dog! Her favorite place to be is right beside you on the couch! She loves being around a big family so she has lots of love, play, and a stimulation to tire her out for bedtime. I have never seen a dog be so appreciative of what she has. She is the happiest dog ever and just wants a warm couch and a human to kiss!""Dixie Chick is eligible for our Senior Dog Adoption Reimbursement Program! For select senior dogs FCAR will offer a senior reimbursement program of maximum of $300 per year for the life of the animal. Story
***FENCED YARD REQUIRED***Stone was found standing in the middle of a road by a kind man. He immediately contacted us because Stone had numerous scabs, open wounds, hair loss and scars all over his head, legs and body. Both of his front legs were swollen. His tail and one of his legs had been broken. He was in horrible condition! We got him to the vet as soon as possible and discovered one of his front legs was possibly fractured recently. He was also loaded with parasites. Due to the location and shape of some of his scars, our vet told us he was probably a ""bait dog"", meaning dog fighters used him as bait to train the fighting dogs. Despite his condition and his past, Stone is so sweet to everyone!! Our staff and volunteers have been giving him so much love and attention, and he is definitely enjoying his new life. He loves to go on walks and get out some of his energy. Stone is very dog selective, so it would be best for him to be the only dog in the home. He wants all the love for himself!!Stone's date of birth is 12/6/2017 and he weighs about 50 pounds.Stone spent some time in a foster home and his foster mom told us this about him, ""Stone is so gentle and kind. He walks well on a leash, takes treats really gently, and is just a calm, quiet boy.""All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs.
