Story
Wynn is being fostered in PA/ Adorable Wynn is looking for love and adventure! This energetic, yet laid back youngster cant wait to start her new life with you as an exercise partner and companion. Her special needs do not stop her from using her puppy energy for run and play, but she also enjoys relaxing on the couch with her person. Wynn loves making new dog friends but can be a little exuberant at first, so careful introductions are important as she learns her doggy social skills. Wynn is potty trained (with occasional accidents when excited) and crate trained. Her bedtime is 8-8:30 and she sleeps through the night! BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Hope is being fostered in LA. Hope is a sweet and happy girl. She does have some vision loss. Hope had her annual last week and she did good. We went to a new vet in our new town and she was a big hit there. Hope is always very friendly to everyone she meets. Hope loves to ride and does pretty good on a leash with a halter on. Hope can still be picky about other female dogs so we are very careful when introducing her to new ones. Hope could be someone's couch potato or someone adventure buddy. Hope is very strong and muscular. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Nala is a high energy red nose pit that needs a loving home as the ONLY pet. She loves to be the center of attention. I got her at 8wks from my daughter in Atl who had the mom. She will be 6yr in May. She loves to run and play ball, rope tug and snuggle. She will be your best friend! I have had a lot of life changes the past few yrs and cannot keep her. I also have the mom now and Nala is more socialized than she is. I am raising my grand daughter as well as working FT. She has never bitten anyone but has gotten into fights (not aggressive, just reactive) with the mom. I have always avoided dog parks just to responsible with her and the stigma the breed has. She needs some leash training as she pulls but I believe if she had a big yard to run in and lose weight ( shes is about 75-80lb) the she would do better. She is completely house trained and used to sleeping in her crate as her bed. She slept in our bed before aquiring the mom. She is a family pet❤️, not a fight dog nor bait dog!!

Foba`s ID number is 61041941. Apply online!Meet Foba! He is a year and six months old and as gentle and sweet as they come. He loves to play (especially with other four legged friends) and be outside on long walks. But most of all he loves being with his human. Overall, he is responsive to direction and easy to train. Foba is a great family dog and would do great in a home with another dog friend to play with but will do great in all homes and situations. He is the best mostly loving pup around.

Story
Milo, is extremely protective over his loved ones , however he has never really interacted with with strangers and can be aggressive towards people he isn’t close to. Now as far as a solid good boy other than the recent behavior issues , he’s crate trained , if you walk him outside he will potty outside. The vets when I asked how he did for an appointment says he is a freeze and stiff type of response. Loves to play and just lay around. Seems to have a sensitive stomach when it comes to dog food. Recent behavior issues seem to be getting progressively worse not towards me(owner) but my fiancé and my cousin/roomate, barks with aggression when they walk by his crate. Milo also doesn’t being outside on a lead or anything for the matter by himself , is a big baby but again the aggression issue towards other people is my biggest concern and would like to rehome him to someone who is aware of the issues and perhaps needs a companion a VERY solid, very cuddly, very loving companion.

Story
Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. She has some vision. Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats. But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies. I like to be active and meet people and other dogs. However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy. At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved. I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person. Story
Meet Teddy 🐻 (Nashville, TN) AKA Teddy Ruxpin, Teddy Bear… and Theodore when he’s making questionable life choices. Teddy is an almost-2-year-old Bull Terrier, which means he is currently in his full gremlin era—equal parts chaos, comedy, and cuddle bug. He will test your boundaries, steal your stuff, forget everything you just taught him… and then climb into your lap like nothing happened. 💛 The truth (because we don’t sugarcoat here): Teddy didn’t have the best start and is still learning how to “dog.” He can be mouthy, jumpy, and gets overstimulated. He needs structure, consistency, and someone who sees his potential—not just his chaos. 🐾 The good stuff: • Hilarious, affectionate, and FULL of personality • Potty trained + food motivated • Loves walks, routines, and being with his people • Will absolutely bully his way into your heart 🏡 His people: Active home, older kids (or adults), not a ton of daily chaos. Someone committed to training and giving him direction. Work-from-home is a big bonus—he thrives with his people. 💊 Medical: On meds for allergies/anxiety (and doing MUCH better with routine). May be reduced over time. Teddy is not a “plug and play” dog—but if you’re willing to put in the work, he’s the kind of dog you never forget. Please apply for Teddy if you think he may be your missing puzzle piece! https://bullterrierclubofamericarescue.com/adoption-application-form/
