Our staff spent extra time with him, slowly teaching him that people could be safe… and introducing him to the magic of peanut butter. That was the beginning of the turnaround. Once he discovered that peanut butter was life? He was ours forever.Hamilton also came in with ringworm, so he had to be isolated for a while. Thankfully it’s completely healed now, and it hasn’t affected his spirit one bit. Today, he’s a happy, curious, resilient puppy who’s learned that love and snacks make the world a lot less scary.He’s going to be a big dog, and he needs an adopter committed to training him to be the goodest boy he can be. He can be a little mouthy — very normal for a puppy his age — and we’re already working on it. With structure, consistency, and patience, he’ll grow into an incredible, well mannered adult.Hamilton has come so far already. Now he just needs his very own home to grow up in.
