Theo was adopted from the animal shelter in New Braunfels TX. He is approximately approximately 2 years old. Theo will do best with a family who is active and who has the time to take him in walks. We currently have another pit Bull who is alot older and at times they do not get along. For that reason, Theo would probably do best being the only pet in the home. We have 2 children (5 and 9) and he does well with them. Theo does get excited around new people, and occasionally will jump on them. He is kennel trained and house trained. He does prefer to not be in his kennel and will cry for a little while. Theo deserves a home that can love him unconditionally, have patience and the time to take him on those long walks.

Story

Jack is a sweet, energetic, two-year-old pup who is always up to play. He recently went to Patriot Dog Training for a few weeks and now knows a series of commands, including "heel", "sit", and "place" (meaning his bed/crate). He's great on the leash and loves to be walked twice a day. He's not very good with cats right now, but with some further training, I'm sure he'd improve. He loves to play with other dogs at the dog park, and he's a FAST dude. His favorite toys are his orange donut and any old tennis balls. If you decide to adopt Jack, we'd really appreciate a donation to cover some of the costs of his training. It's not required, but it'd go a long way as we paid for his training to better his chances of getting to his forever home. Additionally, Patriot Dog Training requested that Jack's new owners contact them for a training session so you can be familiar with the skills that he's learned. They're a wonderful company and it'd be great for you to get an idea of what he knows!

Winston is 4 years old and an incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving boy. He has anxiety and is currently on medication to help manage it. Winston is not destructive, but does bark excessively when either me or my boyfriend leave our apartment. As a result of his anxiety he is reactive towards other dogs, especially large breeds. He is not aggressive, but gets very exited and tries to run at them to play. He does, however, do great with cats. We have two and they get along well. They play together and even sleep together most nights. His anxiety has unfortunately become an issue for us given our living situation, as we cannot have him barking when we leave our apartment in the early hours of the morning, nor can we have him barking at or trying to run to our neighbors dogs when they are out. Walks are stressful, but I am hopeful that with the right person this is something he can overcome. What Winston needs is a yard he can play in and someone willing to love him and give him a chance.

I adopted Eleora on my dads death date 4 years ago. She has always been an amazing dog and I always get compliments on how well behaved she is. She loves to play with other dogs and have fun but also has a very chill side, she will cuddle with you all day if you let her! She is around 5 years old but won’t let that stop her. All I’m asking for is someone who will love her and spoil her more than I can. I just had a baby and I can’t afford to feed ele and pay for all of her shots. She is fantastic on a leash and listens very well. She never has accidents indoors. Probably the best dog anyone could have. She’s not great with cats, she lived with them and never attacked them but just won’t leave them alone. She is INCREDIBLE with kids and babies, my nephews jump all over her and she just takes it. She never barks and doesn’t dig holes, she is a perfect addition to a family. not asking for money for her, just tons of love. Shes the sweetest baby.

A Good Dog for a Good Owner!!! This little girl wondered up to our house on Friday. She is a Shepherd Pit and while looks very scary she couldn’t be sweeter. She is very gentle and smart. We already taught her how to sit and lay down in the time she’s been with us. She is chipped but the owner has been blocking all of the calls. They told us he lives 20 miles from us so she was definitely dumped. 😢 If anyone is looking for a new baby, she would be the perfect one.

If you are looking for an emotional support animal that will lick your tears away and thrive in your joy as y’all take long walks or run around a yard together look no further! It hurts my heart thinking of parting ways with the best girl I’ve ever known but she deserves a loving stress free home filled with love and long walks and preferably a yard for her zoomies. I first rescued Shelby from being a stray here in San Antonio as a new born puppy 3 years ago then moved her out with me to New Mexico where we went on many adventures and where she loved the snow! Shelby is the goofiest sweetest loving girl! Energetic and playful and SO loving. I wish I had the space and time for her and my first born daughter to learn to love each other the way I did but unfortunately due to a lack of space time and support I have to make the hard but best decision for her of finding her a better home. She deserves someone who is ready to play when they come home and lots of cuddles and adventures.
