Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi I am Marble! My birthday is November 13, 2019.  My foster home is located in Collin/Denton county. I weigh about 60lbs and knee high tall. I am looking for my forever home. My owner had to surrender me so they could get medical care out of state and now they are not coming back. I am a super happy, sweet and fun loving girl. I love being with my people. I am eager please and want to do my best. I listen very well also.  I love snuggling with you in bed and on the couch.  I have lots of energy so I need a home that will give me a lot of attention and exercise. I enjoy playing with balls and stuffed animals. I am a super vocal girl who makes a lot of different sounds. My foster mom says that I purr, coo and even sound like Chewbacca from Star Wars sometimes.  I am crate trained, mostly house trained and love riding in the car. I eat Purina One dog food and love dog treats and chew toys. I do okay with the cats in my foster home but I am not left unsupervised with them, my foster mom crates me when she is not home. I do well with other dogs after I am properly introduced to them. I get very excited when I see a new dog and can overwhelm them with my energy so I need to be introduced slowly and while being supervised. I love playing with the other dogs in my foster home. My foster mom says I will be fine as an only dog also. I have cats in my foster home but I am not left unsupervised with them. I would probably do better in a home without cats. I would love to be showered with attention and be the love of your life. Please consider adopting me. I promise I will be a loving and loyal companion to you. If you are considering adopting two dogs. please consider adopting me with my best friend, Sadie. Marble's foster home is located in the Denton County area. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Story
LOCATION: St. Augustine, FLDOB: 08/15/2022(We adopt nationwide, except MA) Transport Available!Meet Lucy, a one-of-a-kind Great Dane-Pittie mix with a heart as big as her paws and a personality that’s pure magic. This stunning girl has been waiting 907 days in foster care for her forever family—yes, you read that right. Over two years of tail wags, zoomies, and waiting patiently for someone to see the gem she truly is.Lucy is 2.5 years old, around 90 pounds of love and goofiness, and she’s fully vetted and spayed. She’s the life of the party when it comes to other dogs her size—she’s playful, submissive, and always down for a good romp or a splash in the water. Her zoomies are legendary, her snuggles are relentless, and her sass is unmatched. She’s known to talk back (in the funniest ways) and snack hard. Basically, she’s the full entertainment package. She has a high prey drive, which makes her an enthusiastic lizard chaser and a definite “no” for homes with cats or pocket-sized pups. Lucy’s got moves—think pounce, leap, repeat—and you might just suspect there’s a bit of wild creature mixed into her genes. (Luckily, we have her DNA results on file to confirm or debunk your theories.)Lucy is great with kids aged 5 and up, especially the ones who appreciate her energetic play style and fabulous fashion sense. She even gets seasonal pawdicures from the young humans in her foster home—because a girl has to match her vibe to the holiday, right? She’s housetrained, crate trained, and still working on mastering the art of the leash. With a little structure and a lot of love, Lucy is going to thrive in a home that embraces her need for play, cuddles, and daily adventures. If you're looking for a hilarious, loving, water-loving, couch-snuggling best friend who will fill your home with joy, noise, and the occasional fashion-forward paw, Lucy’s ready to make your family complete.========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .Note: SRGDRR adopts nationwide and offers transport options to help you find your perfect match! Story
LOCATION: Des Moines, WADOB: 10/31/2022Meet Sirius Black, a lanky, lovable Great Dane-Pittie mix who’s equal parts goofball and cuddle monster. His name may evoke mystery, but Sirius is an open book of love, curiosity, and food-driven charm. This big-hearted boy thrives when he’s with his people. Whether it's wedging himself beside you on the couch for full-body cuddles or throwing soulful glances your way just to make sure you know you’re his whole world, Sirius is all about connection. He’ll follow you from room to room like your oversized, four-legged shadow—and when it’s walk time, you’ll know. He bolts to the door with enthusiasm that only a dog who truly lives for walks can express.Sirius is smart, energetic, and motivated by treats—he’ll do just about anything for a snack. Mealtimes are a highlight, especially when his food is served in puzzle toys. But he’s no saint in the kitchen: Sirius thinks counters are buffets and your sandwich is fair game. He’s working on manners and boundaries, and he’s learning fast with a consistent leader. He’s also still a work in progress when it comes to confidence. Noisy appliances are his nemesis—especially the massage gun, which he’s certain is pure evil. With patient desensitization, he's making progress, but he’ll need continued support to feel secure. He’s shy with strangers, especially men, and needs a slow, respectful introduction to build trust.Sirius has a strong prey drive, so no cats or small critters in his future home, please. He’s wonderful with other dogs, especially ones his size who can match his playful energy. In fact, having a canine companion might be just what he needs to ease his anxiety when left alone. He’s kennel trained and housebroken, but he prefers to be where the action is—he wants to be part of the family, not off in a quiet room alone. While sweet and affectionate, Sirius isn’t ideal for homes with small children. He’s got zero spatial awareness and a habit of using his big paws to make a point, so older, dog-savvy kids would be a better fit. He also gets mouthy when stressed and needs someone who understands how to redirect that energy constructively. The perfect home for Sirius is one filled with patience, routine, and activity. He’d love an adventure buddy—someone who enjoys hikes, beach days, or even a jog now and then. Mental stimulation is a must. This isn’t a dog who’ll be content lounging around all day without interaction or a job to do.Sirius Black has all the ingredients of a lifelong best friend—brains, heart, loyalty, and a truly impressive cuddle game. With the right home and consistent guidance, this curious, affectionate soul will shine brighter than ever.========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .Note: SRGDRR adopts nationwide and offers transport options to help you find your perfect match!
