Mitts is about 6 years old. I adopted him about 4 years ago. I have no choice but to rehome him due to health reasons. I hope to be able to visit him occasionally in his new home or receive photos/videos. Mitts is a lap cat. He spends a lot of his day napping. His favorite spot is in a cardboard box under the sun. But he also likes to curl up next to you or climb into your lap.

She’s now a gentle and affectionate companion, but she’s also quite sensitive and anxious in busy or noisy environments. She truly shines in a peaceful home with one or two adults—no children or other pets. While she’s lived with other animals, she hasn't gotten along well with one of our male cats and tends to retreat when things get loud or chaotic. But when the house is quiet, especially in the evenings, her sweet personality comes through. She’ll come out of hiding to rub against you and ask for gentle pets, and in calmer times before our household grew, she loved curling up in my lap. She would thrive in a stable, low-stress home with someone patient and loving who can give her the calm environment she needs to feel safe and come out of her shell.
