American Shorthair kittens & cats in Santa Cruz, California

Loki is looking for a forever home full of cuddle-hugs and laser-pointer chases! Loki and her sister, Odin, are about eleven years old. My brother raised them both since they were young kittens, but he is unable to take care of them any longer (for circumstances unrelated to the cats), so I've been fostering them. Having cared for them for over a year, I'm confident they can be rehomed together or separately; they cuddle together sometimes but mostly seem to do their own thing. Loki is the more quiet and reserved of the pair. She takes a little while to warm up to new people, but once you're on her good side, you'll never be lacking a cuddle buddy. Instead of curling up on your lap, she prefers to lie right on your chest, like she's trying to give you a hug. She spends most of the daytime finding sunny spots to stretch out and lounge. She's especially happy if there's a window with a birdfeeder she can watch. Her favorite playtime activity, by far, is intensive laser-pointer chases.

Odin is the more talkative and attention-loving of the pair. She absolutely cannot get enough pets and chin-scratches. She's the only cat I've met that not only asks for belly rubs, but doesn't even do the typical cat thing of "you can rub my belly once" and then "I'll bite you" -- she'll just happily roll around for more pets, purring like a car engine. Like her sister, she loves birdwatching (bonus points if you have a bird feeder) and her favorite playtime activity, by far, is intensive laser-pointer chases.

Roger is an 11 year old orange American short hair. He is very sociable and kind to people. He loves to hang out with you side by side and easy going. Some of his favorite activities include looking out the window, enjoying the afternoon sun, and sleeping! I found him on the street when I was in high school but due to life changes and moving around it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to take care of him. I want to help him go find a forever home where he can continue doing the things he loves. Due to his age he does need a special kidney kibbles but other than that he is healthy and strong!

Hello I am Potato’s owner. Ive been having Potato for 10 years and she is the best cat that you can have as she loves human. Sadly with my new job and the need to travel, I can’t no longer take care of her all the time and I am looking to re-home her. It was a hard decision but a needed one and I hope she can find someone that love her as I do.
