Story
In 2016, we adopted a sweet and cuddly kitten named Pancake. She loves to sit on your lap and is a joy to play with, especially when she’s whacking small things on the ground. Pancake is quite talkative and will respond with meows when you talk to her. However, during the pandemic, our other cat stopped getting along with her, which has made Pancake unhappy and anxious in our home. We don’t have the resources to provide her with the safety and calmness she deserves. Despite this, Pancake has so much love to give and will shower you with attention through head butts and serious biscuit kneading. She’s a low-maintenance cat and has never had any health issues. We’re hoping to find her a new home where she can live her best cat life.

Story
I got a potato and jiji as kittens, about 6-8 weeks. They were feral and already pretty traumatized when I got them. As a first time cat owner there were a lot of hurdles and while they have come a long way, and I love them very much, I think they need to be in a home with more experienced owners. They are socialized to a degree but don't like touch, particularly potato. He is very independent and I think he would make a better indoor outdoor cat but I can't allow him to do that in the city. He is bonded to jiji who is very scared and shy but does warm up and loves cuddles once he trusts you. He is very back and forth on when he's feeling loving and when he's feeling scared tho and requires quite a bit of patience. While I have been trying very hard I just don't think that I am the best owner for potato and jiji and I think they need a home with more routine, consistency, and experience dealing with more feral cats. I am hoping to find them their forever home, I just don't think I am.

Story
Gato is an 8 year-old gray tabby cat with a heart of gold. If you’ve been in search of a cat that loves to cuddle up, snuggle on your lap and be a constant companion - Gato is it. In addition to cuddling, Gato is active and enjoys indoor and outdoor access. Gato is a social butterfly and enjoys being around his humans, but he is best suited to be the only animal in the home. This is why we are looking for a home that can provide Gato with the love and attention he deserves, without the stress of other pets or small children, as we can no longer provide him with a similar peaceful environment. Due to the stress of living with our toddler, Gato is currently on a daily anxiety medication which helps him stay calm. Gato would be best suited for a home with adults or an older child who can understand and support his need for medication and attention. He just had his annual vet appointment and received a clean bill of health and is ready to find a new, tranquil home.
