Story
Taz was found at the Antioch Library as a kitten by friends. She has lived with the same friends with multiple cats throughout her 11 years and has never caused problems. She has been picked on by some cats, though, so she tends to keep to herself. Taz is extremely shy and only comes out for people she really trusts. She needs a home with an experienced cat owner who can be patient with her while she gets comfortable. When she does feel comfortable, she loves to play with toys and be brushed and sit on a lap. Her current home is now unstable as some people have moved out, and the person left is not able to care well for the cats.

Story
Yosemite Sam is available for a cat experienced home that is able to demonstrate they can redirect inappropriate attention seeking behaviors that he displays: ankle nipping and hand grabbing. Sam is currently not able to live with other cats-however-he is learning boundaries from an assertive female and doing well. He is visually ok/cautious with large, livestock guardians. Sam is a project cat who has a bite record due to FEAR-based aggression. He is a wonderful, playful, affectionate-but insecure cat who needs patience, understanding, and neutral reactions to incidental nips/slaps. He no longer uses his claws and teeth to grab attention, however, if you react negatively or attempt to “correct” the behavior he will bite/scratch. At this time, Freya's Fearless Felines would prefer a working home where he can run, play, and hunt and feel safe getting to know people and animals at a distance. He comes when called, has a HIGH prey drive, and doesn’t mind being picked up and held. He cannot go to a home with small children and he will start on a 30 day foster to adopt contract with hands on assistance from his trainer/foster. Sam is a good cat (8 months) who deserves a home that will continue to support his journey and appreciate the steps we have taken to help him develop into a confident cat. We don’t know what life looked like before he found his Good Samaritan-but his behavior tells a story of distrust and inconsistency that has left him desperate to please but weary of being abandoned.

Story
Moon is currently 2 years old, she is a loving, talkative cat that enjoys chasing after toys. Unfortunately we are needing to rehome her, as she is no longer getting along with our other cat. Moon would do best in a home as the only cat. However she has never had issues around our 2 dogs.
