Story

Taz was found at the Antioch Library as a kitten by friends. She has lived with the same friends with multiple cats throughout her 11 years and has never caused problems. She has been picked on by some cats, though, so she tends to keep to herself. Taz is extremely shy and only comes out for people she really trusts. She needs a home with an experienced cat owner who can be patient with her while she gets comfortable. When she does feel comfortable, she loves to play with toys and be brushed and sit on a lap. Her current home is now unstable as some people have moved out, and the person left is not able to care well for the cats.

Hey, this is a sweet boy named storm. He was going to be thrown out because his last peer could not keep him and I ended up saving him. He is a very nice and sweet boy who is a bit nervous but won’t hurt a soul. Hes grey with yellow eyes and likes to play at night. It might take a few days for him to feel save but he will come around. He has a toy I gave him that is his comfort toy which is a toy mouse. We are looking for a forever home for him.

She can be a bit shy when meeting new people and may spend a few days hiding as she adjusts to a new home — but with patience and kindness, she blossoms beautifully. Fern would prefer to be the only cat, as other cats tend to make her feel timid. She truly thrives in a calm environment where she can feel safe and secure. She does well with large dogs and enjoys peaceful companionship. One of her favorite things is quiet time with her foster — especially when Churu treats are involved! She also loves stretching out for sunny naps and watching birds from the window. Fern is litter box trained, spayed, current on vaccines, and dewormed. Lavender is 2 years old and a fiesty cat. She does not like to be held but she overrall keeps to herself. She loves affection (on her time) and will jump on your lap for some rubs. She is unafraid and isn’t bothered by much. She does well with other cats but she is territorial. Other than that she is sweet but I just can’t manage two cats at this time.
