Meet Willow, the gorgeous white cat. Willow arrived to the Shelter after her previous household and set up just wasn’t the best fit for her. Willow is a shy gal who needs a patient, cat-savvy environment and adopter to help her acclimate. She experience being around cats as well as cat-savvy dogs in her previous home. A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Willow’s previous guardian reports that Willow tends to meow whenever she wants something – to play, cuddles in bed, and when it’s time for wet food (she knows the time down to the minute). She tends to be skittish around men in particular. Once she is sure of someone, she is a sweetheart. She doesn’t love to be held but will let out loud purrs when being pet. Some of her favorite things are being near her person (by your knee or shoulder) and ribbon-style toys to play with. Willow has been indoors and would be best to continue that in her next home. A home without children is recommended for this sensitive soul. Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.

Meet Rocco 🐾 Rocco is a sweet, independent cat with a big personality and plenty to say! He’s very talkative and loves communicating with his people, so you’ll always know when he has something on his mind. Rocco is also wonderfully low-maintenance and enjoys having his own space. One of his favorite things is climbing and relaxing in his cat towers, where he can perch, observe, and feel like king of the castle. While Rocco is affectionate on his own terms, he isn’t the super-cuddly lap cat we were hoping for. We’ve realized that our personalities and needs may not be the best match, and we want to give Rocco the opportunity to find a home where he can truly thrive and be appreciated for who he is. Rocco would be a wonderful fit for someone who enjoys an independent cat with a funny, vocal personality and who is happy to let him decide when he wants attention. I'm FIV+, which means I'll need to be your indoor-only companion and would do best as your one and only cat, but that just means all my affection goes straight to you. Donut is a very calm and sweet cat. She loves to be outside and she also spends time inside. She is quite independent, however she likes when she is petted on her head or under her chin. She will be 5 years old this fall. She listens to her name and follows me outside where I go. She does not use the litter box if she can go outside. If she should be kept inside she is trained to use the litter box. She communicates well if she wants to go out or in. We got her from Silicon Valley Humane Society. She was very small at that time. Her original name was Bobbie, but we call her Donut from an early age. I hope I can find a home for Donut where she can go out and also be inside.

Munk is very zen and calm. He’s smart and enjoys to eat most of the time lol. He gets along with cats but I think it’s because of his calm personality and he’s been around a lot of kids, doesn’t bite or scratch. He loves sleeping on couches or looking outside. If the door is left open he usually just sits and stares but doesn’t try to run out either

Fluffy is a 6-year-old orange-and-white indoor cat with beautiful medium-long fur. He has a gentle, peaceful personality and loves being cuddled once he feels comfortable. Although he is shy when meeting new people, he forms strong bonds with his owner over time and is a loyal, affectionate companion. Fluffy enjoys the safety and comfort of indoor living and has a calm, loving nature that makes him a wonderful pet.He got the rabies vaccine on August 20th.
