Hey there I'm Tony the Tiger, a handsome 5-year-old orange tabby boy with a gentle heart . I'm already neutered and litter box trained, so I'm ready to settle right into your home. I'm FIV+, which means I'll need to be your indoor-only companion and would do best as your one and only cat, but that just means all my affection goes straight to you. Meet Rocco 🐾 Rocco is a sweet, independent cat with a big personality and plenty to say! He’s very talkative and loves communicating with his people, so you’ll always know when he has something on his mind. Rocco is also wonderfully low-maintenance and enjoys having his own space. One of his favorite things is climbing and relaxing in his cat towers, where he can perch, observe, and feel like king of the castle. While Rocco is affectionate on his own terms, he isn’t the super-cuddly lap cat we were hoping for. We’ve realized that our personalities and needs may not be the best match, and we want to give Rocco the opportunity to find a home where he can truly thrive and be appreciated for who he is. Rocco would be a wonderful fit for someone who enjoys an independent cat with a funny, vocal personality and who is happy to let him decide when he wants attention. We hope to find him a loving forever home where his unique personality is the perfect fit

Meet Willow, the gorgeous white cat. Willow arrived to the Shelter after her previous household and set up just wasn’t the best fit for her. Willow is a shy gal who needs a patient, cat-savvy environment and adopter to help her acclimate. She experience being around cats as well as cat-savvy dogs in her previous home. A home with other animals may be a fit with a slow, thoughtful introduction. Willow’s previous guardian reports that Willow tends to meow whenever she wants something – to play, cuddles in bed, and when it’s time for wet food (she knows the time down to the minute). She tends to be skittish around men in particular. Once she is sure of someone, she is a sweetheart. She doesn’t love to be held but will let out loud purrs when being pet. Some of her favorite things are being near her person (by your knee or shoulder) and ribbon-style toys to play with. Willow has been indoors and would be best to continue that in her next home. A home without children is recommended for this sensitive soul. Willow`s adoption fee has been sponsored by a Good Samaritan!Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.

We've had him since he was an 8-week-old kitten, and he's been a beloved part of our family ever since. London is an indoor-only cat and has excellent litter box habits. He has always used his litter box consistently and has never had issues with accidents. His personality is a fun mix of playful and relaxed. He enjoys chasing toys, exploring around the house, lounging in sunny spots, and keeping an eye on what's happening around him. He's especially fond of spending time near his people, whether that's supervising work from a laptop, loafing in the hallway, or stretching out on the floor after playtime. London can be a little protective of his home and the people he loves. Once he's comfortable, he's affectionate and enjoys pets, attention, and interactive play. He would likely do best with someone who understands that he may need a little time to warm up to new people and environments. Since welcoming our baby, we've unfortunately had much less time to dedicate to playing with him, so he's become a bit heavier than his ideal weight. With regular play sessions and activity, we think he'll easily slim back down. We're looking for a home where London can receive the attention, playtime, and companionship he deserves. We truly believe he'll thrive with someone who can give him the time and consistency that's become difficult for us during this season of life.
