American Shorthair kittens & cats in Deland, Florida

This is Miso and her kittens, i took miso in when i found her hungry and pregnant one evening and knew she needed somewhere safe and warm. But as much as i do love her, i do not have the ability to keep her or any of her kittens long term. I have cared for them to the best of my ability but i would love for them to find homes who can give them the love and care they really deserve. The kittens are weaned and eating dry and wet food, they are litter box trained. They will however need to be taken to a vet when adopted because i do not have the resources to provide that care for them. Miso will need to be spayed and taken to the vet for her shots as well :) Please reach out with any questions ! P.S. My daughter rescued nugget from inside our neighbors car 3 years ago. She's a very loving kitty and has been raised around other cats and babies. My daughter couldn't take her when she moved and I can't keep her any longer.

Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. Now that she knows and trusts us, she meets us when we come in and stands up adorably on her back feet and leans back in your hand for head rubs. It’s truly adorable! We’ve never seen another cat do this in our history of cats. She’s a little butter ball too. She wobbles when she walks but, still loves to play with small toys and the lazer. She is very loving and loves attention and being talked to. She gets along great with other cats too. She’s is the best little girl and needs and deserves a wonderful, loving, forever home with a family or person that will love her as much as we do and give her lots of attention.
