Story
Sleepy is a very sweet 9 year old Tuxedo colored cat. He is very shy at first, but once he feels comfortable around you he is one of the sweetest cats I have ever had. He loves cuddles and pets, as well as treats. He is currently an indoor/outdoor cat, but lived as an indoor only cat for the first 7 years with me. He is good around people and other pets.

Story
Initially, when he was TNRd, he was very feral and couldn't even get near him, even with food. Slowly, I kept a routine with food and watched from a distance, and he started to eat with me watching. After a month of slowly getting closer, one time when I was sitting on the stoop near his food watching him, he finished and walked up, purring and wanting to be rubbed We discovered our older male was jealous or just defensive and was running Midnight away. We pulled him inside to a part of the house isolated from other cats and discovered he had an Upper respiratory infection. We took him to Dr Alex in Apopka and got a round of oral antibiotics, and there is no more wheezing He has always had a raspy meow, has been treated with generic Revolution, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV Happy to jump up to lap for rubs/petting, but we are working on picking him up for hugs. He is litterbox trained Has been isolated, no experience with other dogs/cats, but loves human contact

Story
My cat Lupin is 5 years old. I never wanted to rehome her but that is needing to become a reality because for the past almost 3 years that my child has been alive Ive had to keep them separated at all times. Because for whatever reason Lupin does not trust my toddler and any chance she gets if my child is too close Lupin will try to pounce at her with her claws. So she has had to be in a separate room with her food and litter box and everything during the day while my toddler is awake and out in the house with us. Once my toddler is in bed is when Lupin gets let out and will cuddle in our bed and hang. But this dynamic isnt fair to either of them because my toddler is afraid of the cat but still curious and then Lupin my cat just does not want my toddler anywhere near her. A home with no young children would be best. She and our lab coexist but mostly ignore each other. I dont know how shed do around cats. She loves my belly rubs and sleeps by my feet every night, but can be aloof.

Story
A Home For Tux. POV: TUX Hi, I'm Tux. That's the oh so "original" name my current foster family gave me. How creative, right? Here's the deal: I need a home. A forever home. SOOO tired of this placement and just want to be RID of these people. Yes, they feed me. Yes, they play with me. And yes, they are kind and loving and blah blah blah... But I want a family of my own. I am so sweet and love to be doted on, but here's the rub: ALL of my fellow cat housemates annoy me. When I was a new kitten, I was scared to death of everything and hissed at whomever came near me. I isolated a lot and didn't really want anyone bugging me. These other furballs I share a house with couldn't understand that and would not leave me be! Alwyas trying to groom me, and clean me and...forgive the over share...SMELL places they shouldn't! So, I may have not been so nice and approachable as I could have been but they would not let up! I just needed my space!! Now? When I want to socialze? All they want to do is eat my food and sit in my tree. No Ma'am! That is off limits! So, Foster mom keeps me separated in my own room. It's a nice room, with a couch under big window I can sit on and watch the birds and squireels, and there is always soft music playing with plenty of treats, food and water...but it's a room. I'm lonely. I want out. I love people, I just take some time to adjust to change. I am sure I would love other cats eventually, I just don't like my housemates (although truth be told I'd probably prefer being on only for a bit, as long as I got a ton of attention. ) I do love to play! Lasers and squeek mice and I LOVE to loaf while petted. (I also happen to have the softest fur EVER!! Just saying...) There has to be someone who will give me a chance? Someone with patience and an experienced adopter? If it doesn't work out, I can always come back here. If anyone wants to meet me please PM my Foster Mom. She will cry when I leave but she knows it would be for the best! 💜 (I do have an adoption fee but that is just to keep some Coconut from trying to get me! I have all my shots, and fixed and microchipped too. )
