Story

Maive is super sweet. She is just not getting along with our dogs. She needs a home where she will be the sole pet is the best scenario. We had her for 5 years and it is just not fair for her to continue to live where she is not comfortable. We found her at PetSmart and she touched our hearts immediately. I would love to see her to go a home where someone will love and care for her. It will be very hard for us to say goodbye but it is best for her.

We got her as a rescue from a post on Nextdoor, her previous owner had moved into a smaller apartment and the other cats were bullying her, she was hiding under their kitchen cabinets all day. She is about 3 years old, actually very sweet and playful, but also has high anxiety, has been living in our house (no other cats) for nine months and is still skittish, will scurry away when we walk toward or by her, hesitant to eat if we are in the kitchen where her bowl is, etc. We think she may do better with a female owner, we are two single males and wonder if she needs someone with more time to bring her around. The lady we got her from said she was the only person she'd let pick her up, and we haven't been granted that privilege so far. Just hoping for a better situation for her.

Sherb is a loving and talkative little guy. I have to rehome since i moved states due to an abusive situation with family and he’s in need of a loving and supportive environment. Our situation isn’t the best so he is skittish sometimes but he loves to cuddle, talk, and eat. He likes to wear bow ties and hide under rugs. He’s good around dogs as long as they aren’t aggressive, he loves kids, and loves to watch you from the sidelines and ask for pets. He’s a really good companion for someone who’s looking for some company and a friend who will be attached to your hip.

J has lived in our front yard for a few months, He is super sweet and cuddly. He was injured last week so we took him to the vet to make sure he was ok. He is all healed now. The vet said he was healthy and about a year old. We got him all his shots and oral flea medicine. He is loving inside life so much we really don't want to put him back outside. He is a great cat but we already have 4. He gets along with the other cats and my kids, I'm not sure how he would do with dogs.

Echo was adopted from a local animal shelter as a kitten and in May this year he will be about 2 years old. We fell in love with him because he loves being around people and other animals. He has a playful personality and likes to explore until he cuddles up and falls asleep.He has been around my dog and other dogs and enjoyed playing with them. He likes to follow you around and be picked up. He will usually start purring as soon as you pick him up. He eats twice a day and his favorite treat is a little bit of shredded cheese when we have it. He enjoys going out onto our screened in patio. We actually crate trained him as a kitten with our medium sized dog and he was very comfortable with it. So now he goes in the crate at night and when we are out of the house. It’s big and has his litter box, food, water, his fav blankets & toys. Having to rehome due to asthma related issues that have developed. Looking to rehome him where he will receive love and attention. He is very special!

Ellie is a sweet gentle cat that is shy, she needs a little time to get use to you. Ellie is my daughters cat and when she join the Navy she had planned on bringing the cats to her post. Tragically, her military post does not allow cats, my sister and I have been caring for Ellie and she is just wonderful. Loves to be petted and will warm-up to you with her gentle purring. Ellie has been living in my garage apartment for the past year with her brother Maliki, the another cat we are trying to rehome, her best friend. We are trying to find a home they can be together.
