Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We got her as a rescue from a post on Nextdoor, her previous owner had moved into a smaller apartment and the other cats were bullying her, she was hiding under their kitchen cabinets all day. She is about 3 years old, actually very sweet and playful, but also has high anxiety, has been living in our house (no other cats) for nine months and is still skittish, will scurry away when we walk toward or by her, hesitant to eat if we are in the kitchen where her bowl is, etc. We think she may do better with a female owner, we are two single males and wonder if she needs someone with more time to bring her around. The lady we got her from said she was the only person she'd let pick her up, and we haven't been granted that privilege so far. Just hoping for a better situation for her.

Story
I fostered Phantom due to his family having a new baby and moving where they could not keep him. He is young, playful, energetic, seeks attention and scratches. He likes to cuddle. He is young and still learning his manners. He did have a dog friend, I have not seen him interact with dogs. He does have a cat friend, Ghost. They are not a bonded pair. He is an inside cat and has not explored outdoors. I travel often for my job and am not able to keep him long term. Happy to answer any questions.

Story
Vader is a 2.5-year-old indoor cat with one owner since kittenhood. He’s playful and active—especially at night—and loves his scratch tower and toys. He’s very gentle, does not bite or shows aggression, and will quietly hide if scared. Vader can be shy and anxious in new environments and around loud noises, but once settled, he’s affectionate and can be quite clingy with his person. He’s litter trained, doesn’t climb on counters, enjoys a wide variety of food, and is very low maintenance. Best Home Fit: A calm, quiet home with a patient adopter who understands shy cats. Ideal for someone who wants a gentle companion and can give him time to adjust and feel secure.

Story
Athena is a sweet, shy, and gentle, gray cat who warms up gradually. She is affectionate, enjoys staying close to her person, and is very vocal around mealtime. Calm demeanor, low activity level, and rarely engage with toys due to her outdoor upbringing. Mildly skittish around sudden movement or unfamiliar people but adjusts with patience. Athena would love to move in with her brother, but she’s also open to living solo as long as you promise to admire her, feed her, and provide a lap or cozy seat for her to chill next to. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance companion who won’t hog the TV remote, doesn’t need toys, and communicates exclusively through adorable meows… Athena is your girl. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, but willing to travel and meet within 2 hours of Jacksonville. Will also provide favorite cat toys, food dispenser, water fountain, and litter box. Athena's brother is also available if you wish to inquire about adopting the pair.

Story
Zuko is a young male kitty in need of a home. We found him when he was a kitten in the middle of the highway and have been looking for him a home since. He has grown into an extremely loveable cat though shy at first. He loves to play and loves to love. Hes potty trained and has been an inside cat since we found him. He'll follow you around most of the time just to see what you're up to as he is very curious most of the time. We would keep him if not for our current moving situation. Hes a very good boy with a lot of love to give.
