Story
My mom got Kitty when she was a kitten, 11 years ago. Since then my dad has passed away and my mom is now 84 and unable to care for her on her own. My brother has been staying her for the past couple of years, but now he has to leave as well. Kitty is sweet, playful, and fairly sociable. She has, on two separate occasions, bitten my mom. I don’t know the circumstances around those instances-whether my mom was doing something she didn’t like, or something else. My brother is the one who has been caring for her and she has not ever acted out toward him. Also, she is an indoor kitty. Her front claws were removed because at the time my dad had very thin skin that tore and bled very easily.

Story
Maggie was a skeletal half-feral kitty at my sister’s begging for food. Unfortunately, she had digestive problems, threw up everything she ate; I didn’t realize until I brought her home; was why she was so skinny. 6 years later, she takes prescription dry food, a tad overweight & a healthy, sweet, indoor kitty. She doesn’t like being picked up so much but instead will sit next to you and rub against you. She’s very well mannered. If she scratches, put a post there & she gets it. Never a problem except vet visits, but what kitty likes them? Give her high places she feels safe, she’ll give you love, a low maintenance independent kitty. A week to trust you, but she’ll come purring every night and kiss your fingers in bed. I’m leaving the country and won’t stay in one place. She doesn’t do well confined, and I can’t travel with her. It breaks my heart, but she needs stability. Mature responsible home would be best. I’d help with prescription-food costs.

Story
Knightro is a very, very sweet kitty. He needs to find a forever home without any other cats. He is great with large and small dogs, children, even raccoons! Knightro was a stray that we found three years ago as a tiny kitten. He has his claws but has never used them to damage furniture or us. He loves to play on his cat tower and is very active. He will snuggle with you every chance he gets.

Story
Turnip was a small baby. The runt of his litter, really. He was so blessed that he found his way into his foster families life. They took great care of him and he has flourished! He is growing up in foster care, though. He is almost a year old ... someone needs to give this guy a chance! He is a playful boy! So smart and such a sweetheart!   Update:  Turnip has become picky with his litter.  He has started having accidents and not using the little box 100% of the time.  Sometimes will poop outside the litter box.  We are working with him to determine what may be causing this. ##1089206##
