Story
Jax was born in 2014 and has only been with our family. He is indoor only but will stay by us when we go on the porch on occasion. He LOVES people and I cannot express that enough. You can never give this cat too much attention. He currently uses his litter robot but any box will do. He eats indoor purina hard food and a can of soft food in the afternoon. Once he gets used to another cat after about a week or so, he will become best friends. Just know, it does take a little bit of time to warm up to another cat but he will eventually become their cuddle buddy. Jax is great with our 1 year old but unfortunately, Jax requires more attention than we are able to give him with a child. I feel as if I am doing a disservice to him by keeping him here when he needs a family that can give him more attention than we can. This has been a very difficult decision and we want to ensure that he goes to the right home.

Story
Dinner adopted me a few years ago and basically followed me inside from the outdoors. I found that he had already been neutered and was evidently someone’s pet, whether he was thrown out or ran away remains unknown. He’s a very cuddly cat and loves to lie by a window or door, looking outside. He can be a little chatty when he wants attention or food but this isn’t bothersome. He’s good with my dog and all people. His experiences with other cats has been mixed; one good and the second was because the other cat was territorial. Dinner needs a loving home, where he gets lots of attention and chances to be in someone’s lap. He also likes to sleep on the bed and cuddle at night, including cuddling with my dog. My current living situation will no longer allow for a cat, but I am also moving later this year.

Story
Finn is a very gentle cat that is litter trained. He likes wet food, catnip, toys and treats. He will make a loyal and devoted friend to the right person. I don't think he will do well outside, and he likes to stay at home in his spot under the sunshine.

Story
April is a 1 year old little girl who desperately wants to love her people. She enjoys sleeping in the bed and exploring the home. April is unsure of other cats for the first few days but eventually warms up. She loves pets, snuggles and being brushed. She is super fast and loves to run around and chase other kitty foster siblings! April would be ok in a home as a single cat or a friend who will let her get to know them for a few days! She is vocal and loves to follow her people around. April has a fascination with bathrooms and bathtubs! You might hear her call for you when your showering because she misses you and you are having all the bathroom fun! If you think you could be her perfect home, please put in an application on the MACS website!June 7, 2023, 1:30 pm

Story
Lady is a senior cat who spent all her life with the same person until her owner passed away. No one else in the family was able to take her. Instead of Lady going to the shelter at the age of 14 and grieving her loss, I offered to foster her in my home. At first she was vocal with her displeasure of being moved around, understandably. Although Lady is not a skittish cat, she needs time to know she is safe in a new environment before she will seek OR accept affection. In couple weeks, she grew to be very affectionate with me. Lady loves to be brushed and gently pet once she trusts you and asks for attention with a meow or extended paw. She may not be a lap cat, but she prefers to be near her person(s). She also likes string toys, cat music, and window seats. Lady needs an indoor, adult only home; unpredictable movements and loud noises are scary. We’re unsure about other cats, but I know for sure this golden girl will make a great companion for someone. Will that person be you?
