Story
Frankie is a sweet, but serious older boy (13 years old). He likes looking out the window, basking in the sun, and "making biscuits" on a soft blanket next to his favorite human on the couch. He likes his routine and likes to be alone with his favorite human. He's never been around dogs. He tolerated other cats, but was definitely not happy. He's had a rough last few years through divorce, many house moves, kids leaving for college, and lots of new humans. We tried EVERYTHING to make him more comfortable, but he is constantly scared and anxious of my new boyfriend who lives with me. All I want is for him to spend his final years happy, relaxed, and loved, and unfortunately other than being loved, he is not happy and relaxed living with me. I'm hoping that whoever adopts him will be open to communication and possibly visits from me and my college age daughter. Frankie was her first pet and her living situation is not permissable to take him, but she will miss him terribly.

Story
Dolly is a playful brown and orange torbie with striking golden eyes. She is about 4 months old, microchipped, spayed, and up to date on her shots. Dolly is a wonderfully spunky kitten! We're currently fostering her after getting her out of an unsafe living situation, and we would love to find her a forever family. She is incredibly affectionate and playful - she can occupy herself with cat toys and is always down for cuddles and scritches. She loves to be held, and she's careful with her claws when jumping up to your lap or a table, and has not clawed at curtains, doors, or walls. She is very curious and loves to explore! We have been keeping her apart from our other animals while she gets used to the space, so we are unsure how she is with other animals. She loves meeting new people and can't wait to find her forever home!

Story
Hi! My name is Teddy and my hobbies include playing, eating, and giving the best cuddles. I am 2 years old. I am very energetic, but am always eager to snuggle. I've also been told that my purrs are quite impressive! I'm looking for a loving home where I can play, get lots of head scratches and cuddles, and eat lots of treats!

Story
This is Tigger. He is a sweet boy who likes a lot of love. Tigger just doesn’t like other animals very much. We took him in as a favor to my sister in law when she was moving from FL to IL. He still doesn’t get along with our other 3 cats and 11 year old lab. Unfortunately we need to re-home him. We hope to find him a home with no other animals at least to start with. Maybe a kitten or puppy could be introduced to him one day.

Story
Introducing Mama, the remarkable feline whose journey from feral to fabulous is nothing short of inspiring. This true rags-to-riches story began when Mama crossed paths with one of Bossy Paws amazing fosters, who recognized her need for medical attention and a loving home.Under their care, Mama's transformation unfolded as she slowly but surely learned to trust again. With patience and dedication, she not only gave her trust but poured her heart into forming deep bonds with her newfound friends. Now, Mama exudes gratitude every day through the abundance of love she showers upon those around her.Though she doesn't demand much, Mama deserves the world and more. A cozy cat tree to snooze in, a sunny spot to bask in the warmth of the sun's rays, and her favorite Tiki Cat food are among life's simple pleasures that bring her joy. Sharing her space with other felines comes naturally to Mama, and she's even tolerant of those curious creatures called dogs, though she may simply choose to ignore them—they're dogs, after all.Mama's resilience, grace, and capacity for love serve as a testament to the incredible spirit of rescue animals. Are you ready to welcome this radiant ray of sunshine into your home and witness firsthand the beauty of a heart that has known both hardship and healing?Apply today at bossypawsrescue.orgAdoption fee: $75.00 Estimated DOB: 08/14/2014
