Story
I know what you're thinking already, another senior let's move on to the kittens. Give me a chance first. My name is Mama. They tell me I'm 8 years old, but I still feel like I'm 2 years old. Those nasty rainy days have me feeling a little gross though. Just don't tell anyone. I have acquired a few servants where I am living now. They ended up bringing me in from outside so I can finally live lavish as I should. Attention is one thing I demand daily. Once you walk into a room, I will immediately greet you for attention. I mean after all this is my house, right? If you are prepared to give your love and food to me, I think this may be a good agreement. My favorite food is Tiki Cat food. You may have to limit my intake on that stuff.. I would love to have another kitty friend or not. I am okay being the only owner of this house. I would not mind smaller dogs but please limit them. I do need my beauty rest. What do you say can I adopt you? Apply today at bossypawsrescue.org Adoption fee: $75.00 Estimated DOB: 08/14/2014

Story
Coconut is a very sweet boy and a lap cat. He is 2 years old and has had seizures for about 6 months. He takes meds 2 times a day and needs someone who can give him his meds on a long term basis. I am a senior and have health issues. I have tried liquid, flavored, crushing, pill pockets. I had good luck with pill pockets for a couple months until he didn't want them anymore. I am now trying chopping the pills in a few pieces and adding to tuna. It is only a short term solution to a long term problem. He is a very good eater. I want someone to love him and give him lots of attention. He is very affectionate. I have 5 other cats all rescues. He is the only one with special needs.

Story
Luna is 2 years old. She is loves playing with her feather toy and would be best going to a home with someone who can play with her regularly. She is smart and very quick to pick up on rules. Luna rarely meows, she primarily communicates using trilling sounds. The reason we cannot keep her is because our original cat (Socks - 5 years old) was not socialized with other cats prior to getting Luna and been unable to adjust. Both are stressed and immediately following the bad fights, Luna pees next to the litter box. We know this is behavioral vs training, as she regularly uses litter until immediately after the fight (about 1x/mo) and goes back to using it after we've cleaned it up. We feel Luna would do better in a home as an only cat to avoid the risk of fighting with another cat. She is very sweet with people and kids. Very conscious of her claws when playing. Was shy at first but has become very people oriented.

Story
Caresha is a 2.5 year old female, and is very sassy and likes to play. She takes a little while to warm up to new people but after she does, she is pretty outgoing. She loves to receive scratches under her chin and the top of her head and is a great companion to snuggle up and watch movies with. She does well with dogs and other cats if the proper introductions are done between them. Ideally her new home will not have any small children as they can be quite unpredictable, and she does not react well to that kind of environment. Caresha is part of a bonded pair and my hope is that they can go to the same home but it is not absolutely necessary to adopt both if I think you are a good home for her but are just unable to take both cats.

Story
Craig is a 2.5 year old female (originally thought to be male when adopted). She is sweet and a little shy but loves affection and quality time once she warms up to you. She's never bitten or scratched me and is very calm but playful. Her favorite place to receive pets is her lower back, and she loves cuddling and making biscuits on soft blankets. She has a little bald spot near the base of her tail from over-grooming but I’ll give you a mousse from her vet that I’ve been treating it with. She should be just fine. She does well with dogs and other cats if the proper introductions are done between them. Ideally her new home will not have any small children as they can be quite unpredictable, and she does not react well to that kind of environment. Craig is part of a bonded pair and my hope is that they can go to the same home but it is not absolutely necessary to adopt both if I think you are a good home for her but are just unable to take both cats.

Story
April is a 1 year old little girl who desperately wants to love her people. She enjoys sleeping in the bed and exploring the home. April is unsure of other cats for the first few days but eventually warms up. She loves pets, snuggles and being brushed. She is super fast and loves to run around and chase other kitty foster siblings! April would be ok in a home as a single cat or a friend who will let her get to know them for a few days! She is vocal and loves to follow her people around. April has a fascination with bathrooms and bathtubs! You might hear her call for you when your showering because she misses you and you are having all the bathroom fun! If you think you could be her perfect home, please put in an application on the MACS website!June 4, 2023, 4:14 pm

Story
Hello, I am trying to find a good home for Bear. He is about 6 1/2 years old. He has had his shots and is neutered. He is one of the most loving cats I have ever seen. He was my father’s cat and my father passed away. I am allergic to cats, so it is hard for me to give Bear the love and cuddles he so richly deserves. He is a wonderful cat who loves everybody. He gets along great with my dogs as well. He enjoys being inside and outside. He loves to be with the family and loves attention. My dad loved this cat so much, so it pains me to have to get rid of him but with my allergies it is getting to be too much for me to handle. If someone could provide Bear with a good loving home, it would make my heart full and he could get the love he needs.
