Story
Stormee is a 3 yo female that was adopted as kitten with her sister. Both have been spayed and are willing to separate for adoption. My elderly sister has health complications that make it increasingly difficult to care for her cats. Stormee is independent yet loves human attention. She stays indoors most of the time but does like it outside as well.

Story
Sassy is a three-year-old female that has been spayed. She has basically been indoors living with my elderly sister who has become chronically ill and unable to keep up with her two cats. I am her sister and live next-door with one cat, but cannot take her two as well. Sassy likes to be sitting with you And is mild mannered (despite her name)! She does go outdoors sometimes but likes it indoors probably better. We are willing to split the two cats.... they came as a pair of siblings but feel they will do fine separately.

Story
This is Laurel. She is Hardy's sibling, but is much smaller. She will always be a petite girl; likely she was the runt of her litter. She is a social butterfly and gets along great with everyone and other cats. She loves to chatter and will chirp your ear off. She loves to play and will need a kitty friend to play with.  She does okay with cat friendly dogs. She  is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.   If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. Story
This is Hardy. He gets along great with everyone and other cats. He would do great  with a fun outgoing buddy to play with. Has been around dogs, but is shy of them. He is slightly shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he loves to be petted and snuggled with.  He is gentle but would be skittish around children or high/loud activity.  He loves to zoom to the highest cat tree tops and to watch the fish in the fish-tank. He has a very loud purr machine. He is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.   If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net.   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. Story
Wesley has a mild temperament free of extreme personality traits. He is not overly affectionate nor terribly skittish. Wesley exudes an air of intelligent laid-back mystique. He gets a kick out of playing in cardboard boxes and gets a charge out of chasing leaves. Wesley rolls over to be petted, does not mind being picked up and held as long as you have the muscles to hold this big boy! He tolerates combing and nail trims pretty well! Wesley does not enjoy riding in a vehicle. He is reserved and bashful in a new environment. Wesley's ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. It is unknown how he will interact with other cats and dogs. Wesley is a 6-year-old American Shorthair with a rusting black coat. He is large, weighing in at 14 pounds! Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
