Story
Hello, this is Matt the owner of my beloved Belly boy. He is a four-year-old energetic and loving male I had taken in from an old roommate of mine that had found him off the streets of Camden as a kitten. He is very talkative and social, yet it takes some time for him to get used to new people and quite the opposite for other cats. I am gone most hours of the day and will be leaving to another state soon for a career opportunity and feel a deep shame that I am not giving this wonderful cat the stimulation and affection he needs. I have thought for some time to adopt another cat however this commitment would be difficult given that I am moving into a much smaller apartment then I am living in now. As much as my heart breaks and as much as I battled with this decision, I feel I can no longer provide for him on an emotional level that he so clearly needs, and hope this will be best for him. I am looking for a loving home with another social cat, I feel he is in desperate need of a friend.

Story
Senior lady looking for a forever home full of scratches and soft blankets!  Tootsie is a sweet senior looking for nice, quiet forever home to live out the rest of her very golden years! She is in the market for a home where the chin scratches and soft cat beds are aplenty. Once you get to know her and she gets to know you, she is quite friendly and affectionate. Any chin scratches that last longer than 10 seconds are guaranteed to be met with a long and deep purr. Tootsie will happily take all the love & pampering you want to give her but she won’t come to you (unless she thinks there’s food involved). She is a chonky gal so there is a lot of her to love! She especially enjoys head rubs and chin scratches. If you scratch her in just the right spot for just the right amount of time, she'll purr and lick your hand to say thank you. She is also a huge fan of anything soft that you leave laying around, whether it's a cat bed or blanket. She likes to try out different pet beds and has no hesitation claiming your favorite jacket if you forget to hang it up. She loves an eating schedule and gets very excited by meal times. She will chirp if she hears you preparing food or if she thinks you need a reminder that it's time to feed her. Because she's on a diet and has made progress in losing weight, Tootsie should remain on her wet food diet. She loves anything chicken flavored! Tootsie is a pretty low energy gal so you don't have to worry about any late night zoomies or howling. However, she won't turn down a quick play session with a wand toy right before her dinner at night. She loves staying in the same 1 foot radius for most of the day. During the summer though, you may find that she will follow sunbeams to sunbathe in. She is a professional lounger. She is also pretty independent and has no problem entertaining herself. She is the type of cat, where it’s her world & we’re all just living in it. Tootsie would thrive in a home with adults or older children, who are knowledgeable about cat needs and boundaries, especially one where someone can keep an eye on her dietary needs since she is making great progress in losing weight (i.e. a consistent feeding schedule and high protein wet food).  Age: 10 years How I came to PAWS: Owner Surrender Animal ID: A50719 I am not at the shelter. Story
Jax was born 11/9/21 and is now 1.5 years old. He is a very loving boy and really enjoys attention. He loves to play all day and cuddle up to anyone. He has a 20 pound dog brother and likes to play with him. Our only issue is one of the members in my household has very bad allergies from jax and it is causing a lot of issues. We've had him since July 2022 and have tried new food and brushing him but the allergies are still there. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Thank you!

Story
Meet the feline James Gandolfini. This three year old gray tabby may look a bit tough and rugged but, like his Sopranos' namesake, James is the epitome of a gentle giant. Despite looking like he might be running the Philadelphia cat mob, when he opens his mouth he has the sweetest, meekest little mew (an actual soprano!) He has the softest gray fur and soulful, electric green eyes that tell his story. Even though he is an extremely sweet and docile cat, James has had an extremely hard time as a street cat. He was rescued covered in wounds likely from being attacked by other cats, or worse, humans. Given his background, James Gandolfini is a little shy at first. However, you can earn his trust quickly with food, treats, and head scritches. Once he feels comfortable, James Gandolfini is a very easy going and low maintenance kitty who likes to play, nap, and is showing lots of interest in his kitty foster siblings.  Unfortunately, because of the attempted hits on James Gandolfini by rival cat gangs, he is FIV+. However, with regular vet check ups this little gangster can still live a full and happy life like any other cat. FIV is not contagious to humans or other animals and is not contagious to other cats through grooming, shared food bowls, toys, etc., so he can and likely would do well in a home with another friendly kitty regardless of that cat's FIV status. Truly, don't let the stigma surrounding this condition deter you from such a great cat. Because of his harsh past, James' perfect home would be adults only, quiet and patient.  James is only 3 years old and has lots of life ahead of him and love to give. Apply to make this sweet wiseguy a made man and party of his true forever family.  Age: 3 years  How I came to Kittensnatchers: rescued after being dumped on the streets and attacked  **If you are applying for a cat that needs a cat friend and you do not have another cat in the home or plan to adopt 2 cats, you application will not be processed** If you're interested in adopting this furrbaby, please fill out an application at https://forms.gle/2vMCSwUWQKVepqir5 All our animals are fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption.
