Story
Coco is a very nice easy going cat who enjoy to be left alone to her own devices. I have had her for 8 years after my daughter needed help with her and she was never able to take her back. I am in yet another situation where helping my daughter with another animal has come up. That in itself is a long story and I can elaborate more in person. I have another animal here and I simply cannot care for both. I live in a smaller condo and the animals do not get along. It has been a very difficult time and I just don know what else to do. She would do well in a home without other pets. Perhaps good company for a senior who likes cats. My most important concern is to find a good loving home and care taker for her. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and I will answer sincerely and honestly. Thank you.

𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗔 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗘 & 𝟯 𝗞𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗬-𝗠𝗬𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗩𝗘 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗨𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲? The plot: due to an unforeseen health emergency, an incredibly sweet kitty was left behind and is in need of a forever family The scene of the crime: Burlington County, NJ The victim: Agatha Christie, a beautiful adult domestic shorthair 𝗠𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 #𝟭: 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗞𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿? If you’ve ever owned a cat (obviously, we mean if you’ve ever been owned by a cat), you know that certain situations arouse terror in your kitty and family alike. Undertakings such as getting her into a carrier and enduring a vet appt can be quite traumatic for everyone involved. This is a universal kitty-ism…or so we thought, until we met Agatha Christie. Despite the fact that she was just placed in an unfamiliar foster home, this little sweetheart didn’t bat an eye when we pulled out the carrier. In fact, she posed for us. How was this possible?! Using incredible might, agility, and elusiveness to impede capture in a carrier is a top 10 kitty law! Still amazed, we made the drive to our vet’s office, knowing that although she surprised us once, Agatha Christie was sure to have a literal hissy fit upon arrival. Once again, she proved us wrong. Straying from expectations, this little girl sauntered out of the carrier and took a seat on the exam table. What?! No yowling? No hissing? No scratching or biting? Nope—she just struck another pose for a photo. Who WAS this mystical creature?! In countless other situations since her foster family took her in, Agatha Christie has reinforced her tranquility. She doesn’t even meow for food at dinnertime. But she’s not all-rest-and-no-play. This little girl has a very playful side! When she’s feeling frisky, she lets her foster family know by jumping into an Amazon box. The plot thickens… 𝗠𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 #𝟮: 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹? If you’re getting suspicious by now, we don’t blame you! The question is, how did Agatha Christie get to be so easygoing? Her background is something of a mystery itself, although we have a few clues. She did have a family, but an emergency health issue arose and separated them. As there was no next of kin to care for her, the local police opted to take her to a shelter. There she remained for several months, until we relocated her to a foster home. Did that time in the shelter have any effect on her whatsoever? Did she witness something that reinforced her placid personality, or was it a red herring? These questions remain unsolved. 𝗠𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 #𝟯: 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗲 𝗛𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆? This is clearly the mystery of the moment. The evidence of Agatha Christie’s wonderfulness is overwhelming. She’s a sweet, loving, playful, affectionate kitty who needs and deserves to be part of a family. NOT making this happen would be the true crime. Who will be the clever ones to take her in? So many suspects with so much motive and opportunity! 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆?

Story
Hi I’m Chanel I am now 11 months old—I was born in my foster home. I’m a female Siamese mix. I’m good with other cats and dogs. I’ll be a little shy at first, but I’ll come around. Will you come have a chat with me? I like to eat, play in water—whether the sink or bathtub, I like it all! I love to eat and will playfully nip my foster mom’s toes to make her feed me faster. I’m a sweet girl. I was the first of my brothers and sisters to eat solid food and explore. I’m a talkative girl. I have all my shots, am spayed, and microchipped. Wanna talk while we play in the water? Hurry—I am fully ready for my furever home. I hear my rescuers say adoptions are so slow, but I’ve waited for a long time. Are you ready for some talk, laughs, and fun? Fill out an adoption application at www.affrescue.com or call or text us at 215-676-3318.June 1, 2025, 1:45 am
