Story
I adopted Malcolm from someone who got him from a shelter in Madison County, but then he could keep Malcolm. Now I am moving overseas and sadly can't take him. My neighbors took care of him at my house this winter when I was gone and fell in love with him, saying he is the sweetest cat they have ever known. Unfortunately they can't keep him at their house. He loves nothing more than curling up against a human thigh.

Story
Found this little cutie at my workplace around November of 2022. No microchip or luck finding owner. Has been inside since, it’s probably the most people-friendly cat I’ve ever met. Purrs as soon as she sees you, sits in your lap, lets you hold her. However she’s very afraid of our cat-friendly dogs and gets attacked by all of our cats constantly, so she’s not happy here at all. Have not been able to successfully socialize and am out of ideas. Would be great as a single-cat. Very petite, unknown age.

Story
All puppies under 6 months are $200 and all dogs from 6 months to 6 years are $85.00 and up. The adoption fee is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, medical condition and demand. All dogs 7 years and older are free under our Saving Seniors program. We frequently run special and occasionally a dog will be more than the stated fee. Most cats and kittens are $35.00, however there may be instances in which the fee is higher or lower, due to age, behavior, medical condition or demand. With felines, we always have an ""Adopt one, bring another one home for free"" adoption special!

Story
My step dad originally bought Mia as a companion for our family cat Mixy. She was alright with Mixy for a while however I rescued a pregnant cat and we came into a lot of kittens at the same time as well as a small dog. She started to become very stressed out around other animals due to the pregnant cats protective behavior and soon started to feel like she would be attacked whenever another animal was close. She started lashing out at the other animals to protect herself and now even if they mean no harm she whines and bats at them. She should not be rehomed with anyone who has other pets. Otherwise Mia is very sweet with people, she loves attention and she loves food. She may need some time to adjust to you, she nips fingers sometimes but never hard, its never vicious. She enjoys laying on peoples laps for long periods of time as well.
