Story
We rescued Lou from the animal protection society of Durham in early spring of 2018. They said she was about 6 months old so we estimate she was born in Oct 2017. She;s been a great cat for us, very cuddly (when it;s her idea). Since having our first child (and now with another on the way) she has struggled with the stress of new family member in the house and lack of attention and that has led us to look for a new home. Ideally the new family would be around the home often for her to have companionship and she would be the only pet (no cats or dogs).

Story
Bella is a sweet 5yr old kitty who was adopted around 1-2 yrs old with a family of 1 dog, 1 other cat and a baby human. She was abused by familys father figure. That family went through a divorce and I took her on 2 yrs ago. Ive taught her how to play (she was too frightened by the toys) and she now sits next to me or on my lap. She doesnt like much petting, but does like to be close. If her litter box isnt cleaned daily she will poop outside of it, but as long as its clean, she is great about using it. I have an elderly cat that is getting very aggressive with her and believe it would be best for her to find a home that is safer. She will NOT go outside, as the wind frightens her. She is content watching life from windows.

Story
Navi is an eight year old female white and orange short-haired cat. Navi is being fostered as she belonged to an elderly woman who unfortunately passed away. Her original owners family could not take her in so she is looking for her new loving home! Navi is a very calm and quiet cat who loves affection. She is not a lap cat, but she loves being in the same room and will often come up for pets. She has lived with other cats and dogs, she does not have experience with small children.

Story
Oreo is a sweet and social little boy born mid September. He is playful, loves to climb and is used to other kitties so would be an awesome addition to your lonely cat or puppy at home. Oreo was born inside a home and his mother was combo tested and is negative for Fiv and Felv, so Oreo is good to go as well! Oreo's neuter and vaccines are included in the adoption fee. Please email info@angelstotheanimals.org for more information/application or to arrange a meet and greet!!. Must be 22 to apply.

Story
She showed up at our house meowing and hungry at approximately 5 months old. She was hunting to survive. I started feeding her and she was friendly but cautious. I made her a cat house outside and it was cold but she did well. We have 3 male cats inside and she had no vaccinations nor had been dewormed. I got her rabies vaccination and got her in to have her tested for feline hiv and spade, vaccinations, de-wormed and flea treatment. We have her inside and she is adjusting well from being an abandoned kitten outside. She does chase the male cats. She was pregnant when she was spayed 4 weeks ago. So it may be left over hormones. I would say starting out she needs to be an only cat. She is a cat that likes to purr and talk. She is a small framed cat with beautiful markings. Her stomach fur is growing in good from the surgery. I have thought long and hard about rehoming her and it's not easy. It has been a tough decision. She will be a great addition.

Story
Trix is a super sweet tuxedo kitty who doesn't let her missing leg slow her down. We've had her for 2.5 years after adopting her from a shelter and our other kitty does not get along with her. We've tried everything to get our tabby to get along and nothing worked. We love Trix. She loves to be pet and will come right up demanding pets. She is good around kids and allows our 3 year old to pet her. She is vocal and loves to have conversations. She does have a touch of that tuxedo sass but it only shows up in her dislike of being picked up and the occasional warning nibble if she doesn't want to be pet. She loves to play with pretty much anything she can find and also loves to run around. She is capable of going up and down stairs and does not have any issues getting around due to her missing leg. You will never find her on one of your counters because that is the only thing high enough she can't jump up on ( she can get up onto chairs and the cat tower fine).
