Story
I found him on a back country road at night. He came running right up to me! He did great for a bath and nail trim that night and loves sleeping next to someone. He’s been eating and drinking well and is very curious about other cats and dogs. He’s been very playful with some toys.

Story
My sister in law passed away on July 8 and my husband and I are not able to take her in as I have a cat allergy. Davida is a good cat and I know she misses her mommy and doesn’t understand why she isn’t there to give her the love that she was given. We really would love her to go to a good loving home. She has always been an inside cat as well. Thank you

Story
Squeaks is a beautiful orange tabby male who was born around Jan 2023. He was found with a wound on his tummy which required surgery and brought into a foster home. Squeaks was born outdoors and is shy with new folks. He lives with his foster mom and dad and their two cats. He is devoted to his foster parents. Squeaks follows them around and is a real lap cat. He is playful and loving. He loves to play with the other two cats in the household. He likes toys and would do well with any family who puts in time to gain his trust. Orange cats are thought to be friendlier and more affectionate than other cats. They tend to be snuggly. Some orange tabbies are so affectionate that they are often cat-egorized as “velcro” kitties. **Adoption fee of $140 includes spay/neuter, vet visits, deworming, and shots. ** Adoption Application: mercyrescue.org

Story
I am desperate to find my mom's cats a home. They are siblings and very attached to each other. We would like for them to stay together and to be indoor cats as they haven't been out since they were 1 week old. We don't feel they would fare well separated or outside. Sarge (male) & Trooper (female) are looking to give love. They loss their human mom (my mother) last year. Born April 2018, both are fixed, vaccinated. They have everything they need except human companionship. They come with toys, beds, monthly food and litter delivered by Chewy. Mom bottle fed them when their mom was killed. They gave her a lot of companionship after my special needs sister passed away. They had a very difficult time when mom passed. They have stopped meowing but still seem to be looking for mom. It isn't fair for them to just exist if they can have someone to love on them.
