Story
Adoption fee can be negotiated. Trouble and Rue come from the same litter and I am trying my best to keep them together. I don't have the funds to take care of them at the time but they are both very sweet and loving. They might take some time to warm up to you as many animals do. They are a little over a year old and still very playful when they choose to be. Rue has some balding around her tail currently but we aren't sure what from. Also despite Troubles name she really doesn't cause any trouble. They both deserve to go to a loving home with someone who has plenty of time and money for them.

Story
Fredrico is a 3-year-old solid black cat. He is a BIG boy that loves people and likes to rub and give love bites. He is playful and funny. He gets a little bit overstimulated when he's around other cats and takes it out on his tail. He doesn't bite it but just gives it a good whomping, of course he lets out a huge scream just before he attacks it. We feel that Fredrico would do best in a home without other cats. He just needs his humans to boss around and nibble on. ** Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vet visits, deworming, and shots. ** Adoption application: mercyrescue.org

Story
Squeaks is a beautiful orange tabby male who was born around Jan 2023. He was found with a wound on his tummy which required surgery and brought into a foster home. Squeaks was born outdoors and is shy with new folks. He lives with his foster mom and dad and their two cats. He is devoted to his foster parents. Squeaks follows them around and is a real lap cat. He is playful and loving. He loves to play with the other two cats in the household. He likes toys and would do well with any family who puts in time to gain his trust. Orange cats are thought to be friendlier and more affectionate than other cats. They tend to be snuggly. Some orange tabbies are so affectionate that they are often cat-egorized as “velcro” kitties. **Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vet visits, deworming, and shots. ** Adoption Application: mercyrescue.org

Story
I’m cowboy! I’m a year old, and I love to play! My dad is unable to care for me anymore due to personal reasons, and even though he hates it, he has to find someone who can give me the care & attention I need. I’m afraid of the outdoors and need to be inside at all times, and it’s best for me to be with a cat around my age who has enough energy as I do. I like big areas to run around in, and the more people to play with, the better! I have very thick fur, and may need some help grooming myself. Please take care of me, as I will reward you with endless love and companionship!

Story
Gizmo is the sweetest boy I have ever met, we got him from a family member a few months ago. He is a little over 2 years old. We have a disabled female cat and they got along great but he plays a little too rough for her and she is now not very fond of him. He gets along amazing with our dog and is sweet to everyone he meets. He is about 10 pounds and our female is very small and fragile. I just want him to find a loving home as it breaks my heart to have to rehome him.

Story
This cat was found by our neighbor when he was a stray kitten. The neighbor took him in (and took his brother in) and kept him as an indoor and outdoor cat. The cat was never neutered and likely not vaccinated although I cannot be sure. The neighbor ended up moving and left the cat behind due to him fighting with his brother (because he is not neutered). Rather than getting him neutered and getting him vet care he just left him behind. We brought him to the humane society today but they were not able to take him due to a heart murmur that they heard. They said it could be due to an infection or something more serious like a valve issue etc.. They think it is likely infection related as he gets in frequent fights and has numerous open wounds right now, which are likely infected and the source of his murmur. I am in shock that they cannot do more for him and sent me home with him. We are not able to let the cat into our home due to allergy issues. He is SO sweet and loves belly rubs.
