If you are in the same room with Ophelia, she is in your lap purring loudly. She turns into a little velociraptor around other cats…we attempted for 3 months to socialize her with our other cats when our friend needed to rehome Ophelia, but it is not possible. This cat is awesome for someone who is home a lot and wants a cat who will happily receive constant attention and prefers to be sitting in a human’s lap. She is an absolute dear and we love her but after three months living in a large room away from our other two cats, it is clear she will never be reconciled to sharing space and she shouldn’t be cooped up. She loves to sit on the window sill by an open window, and does seem to get along with the outdoor cats through the window screen. :) She will go to her new home with her food dishes, her litter box, litter box liners, litter, a big bag of food, her bed, her toys and cat treats.

He’s the sweetest cat but he just does not get along with my other cat. He gets along with my male cat, ideally I’d want a home for them together but if not that is okay. My other cat is named spot. He is microchipped, neutered, and very cuddly and sweet. These two are best friends but my third female cat does not get along with Jiji at all and it’s causing her a lot of behavioral problems and anxiety.

I must admit, I am not a lap cat, unless I want to be. I don't like to cuddle, unless I want to, and if I grace you with my presence, you should feel privileged. It's better if you pet me with your eyes most times, but I will let you know when I want some attention. Hands are allowed only when I want them and I will even let you give me treats or play with toys on occasion.I have been called a jerk, a curmudgeon, a sourpuss, and several other not-so-nice names, but I say phooey on them. I just know my limits and expectations, and want to make sure you understand where I am coming from. I have been known to communicate with hissing at times, and while that may seem off-putting, you will never question whether I want attention or not. If you are looking for a cuddle buddy, sadly, I am probably not your guy. But, if you are looking for a companion who will always be honest with you, who will not pester you for attention, and who will provide much needed companionship and loyalty, I am your guy. I tolerate other kitties who respect my space and have previously lived with a dog, but am happy to be an 'only child' too. I probably would not do well with kiddos, as they want attention all of the time, and my sun-bathing and nap-times are precious to me. I am a big guy, so prefer not to be picked up either, but I am trained to go into my pet taxi when travel is required - I am a sucker for treats! I am vaccinated, microchipped, had flea treatment applied, and have been sterilized.
