Story
15 year old cat that has recently been having bathroom problems (peeing and pooping on the floor all around the house). My work hours results in her being left alone for 12+ hours a day. Would do perfect in a home where she can be watched and given the attention she needs.Velcro is very loving and affectionate and has been an overall good cat. I’m just not able to care for her in her last days with her new issues

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Spot: the moo-diest beauty in the building. With markings so striking, cows everywhere are probably a little jealous. Spot is truly one-of-a-kind—but don’t let her bold look fool you. She’s a shy, gentle girl who prefers calm, quiet spaces and a slow, respectful approach. Spot isn’t the “pick me up and cuddle me” type. She’s more of a peaceful companion who will watch from a safe distance, quietly learn your routine, and warm up in her own time—especially if treats are involved. She’s perfect for a cat-savvy home that understands love can look like slow blinks, quiet trust, and steady patience. Spot is bonded with her best friend Randy and they must be adopted together. The two are a comfort to each other, and Spot’s brave little spirit helps Randy feel safe. If you’re looking for a low-key duo with tons of character and a bond that’s truly special, Spot and Randy might be your perfect match.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 19, 2026, 11:42 am

Smokey is a 3.5-year-old sweetheart with a voice you’ll never forget—his gentle “hoot hoot” meow makes everyone smile. Calm and easygoing, he’s happiest lounging nearby or curling up beside you for quiet affection. He’s fully house trained, well-mannered, and past the high-energy kitten stage, making him an ideal companion for a relaxed home. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key cat who brings comfort and a little charm to every day, Smokey is your perfect match.

Story
Ruby and Vy: A Heartfelt Story. Ruby and her sister, Vy, were discovered as small kittens in a cardboard box within a shed in Church Hill, Richmond, VA. They were born in early June 2025. My daughter and I decided to adopt two kittens so they could enjoy each other's company.Ruby: The social butterfly who loves to snuggle and lounge on cozy blankets all day. She has a hearty appetite and often engages in conversation.Vy: In contrast, Vy is the adventurous one, always eager to explore and less focused on food. She finds comfort snuggling with our dog. Both young cats likely will enjoy being indoor/outdoor cats as they mature. They have a fondness for plants and are scheduled to be spayed at the end of April 2026.As we prepare to move to Florida, I find it challenging to keep them as a single mother. Regardless of whether they stay together or are separated in their next home, they each bring so much joy and companionship.
