Story
We adopted Kenji from the Maricopa Animal Shelter. He is about 3 years old, neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines. Kenji is a very sweet and affectionate boy who loves to cuddle and give hugs. He enjoys walks, knows how to use a doggy door, and walks well on a leash. He is not a picky eater and even enjoys vegetables. While he has a gentle and loving personality with people, he does not get along with our resident German Shepherd, which is why we need to rehome him. Kenji would do best in a home where he can be the only dog and have all the attention. He thrives on companionship and would make a wonderful loyal friend for someone who can give him a stable and loving home. Words that describe Kenji are sweet, affectionate, cuddly, loyal, and easygoing. Kenjis DNA test say he is is a mix of 18 breeds with Highest being 31% American Staffordshire Terrier and 14% Siberian Husky.

Story
**This is a courtesy listing for Frosted Faces, Vintage Paws Animal Rescue** Say hello to Redburn! Redburn is a young male mutt mix, looking for a forever family. He is approximately one-year-old and weighs around 70-pounds. We actually had Redburn DNA tested and he is ten different breeds, with the top three breed percentages being: American Staffordshire Terrier at 46%, Siberian Husky at 15% and 13% American Pit Bull Terrier. (6% German Shepherd, 5% Great Dane, 5% Samoyed, 4% Alaskan Malamute, 3% Chow Chow, 2% Australian Cattle Dog, 1% Staffordshire Bull Terrier). Redburn was originally found running around as a stray with another dog and was being fed by the employees at a nearby tire shop, Redburn Tire Company (hence the name!).  Redburn is a sweet dog who has really blossomed during his time at the rescue. Redburn is now a social dog who enjoys meeting people and getting lots of pets and attention. He has a moderate to high energy level and loves to zoom around the yard and go on walks (he walks well on leash!). We have discovered that Redburn LOVES water! He enjoys splashing and soaking in the play pool, and would love to try out a big pool in his new home. Redburn seems like a dog who is just starting to experience what being a pet means. He doesn't know any tricks or training yet, but he is eager to please and we believe he could learn if you're willing to teach him. Redburn looooves toys and especially squeaky toys! Redburn loves attention from his human friends and is working on his socialization with other dogs. He seems to do best with female dogs; a dog intro will be required prior to adopting. Redburn would do best with a patient family who is willing to grow with him. We don't think he was ever a loved or "owned" pet and as such, will need help learning all about how to be a dog. Does Redburn tug at your heart strings like he does ours? Email chitownrescue@gmail.com for more information/meet and greet appointment! Redburn's adoption fee includes neuter surgery, vaccinations up to date, and microchip.December 16, 2025, 12:32 am

PLEASE N OTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Different policies and fees may apply.   **Available to Foster or Adopt!!! ** Meet Pokadotta Spotta, a fun and spunky girl who has been waiting over 2.5 years for a home of her own. At 4 years old, she’s spent her entire young adult life dreaming of finding her forever person, and it’s time she finally gets her chance. Spotta is full of personality, energy, and love to give. She’s crate trained, walks well on leash, knows basic commands like “sit” and “down,” and takes treats gently. She’s also respectful in the home and doesn’t chew on things she shouldn’t. Spotta loves chasing balls, splashing in the kiddie pool, and leaning in for affection. She can be a little jumpy when excited, but that’s just part of her spunky charm. She is looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can be the only pet. No other animals and no kids. Spotta thrives in a quiet environment with someone who lives a peaceful lifestyle but still has the energy and time to keep her active and engaged. An experienced handler would be ideal, and most importantly, she needs someone committed to loving her forever. Spotta is located in Phoenix, Arizona. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. If you think you might be her perfect match, please consider adopting or fostering.
