You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Jaxx is currently in a home with 6 other dogs. He does well with all of the dogs, even the chihuahua mix. He is curious about the cats, but shows no aggression towards them. He is on the smaller side and is probably about 50-55 lbs. He is not going to get much bigger than what he is now.  He loves, loves, loves to play, run and will get into the kiddy pool to cool off. He is highly treat and food motivated. Jaxx is a jumper at heart, and will definitely need a 6ft wall or taller. (He has NOT tried to jump my 6ft block wall, but he can jump from the ground up to the top of the tables out back. He will also jump the couch from the back with ease).  He would also do well in an apartment, too. He is kennel trained and fully potty trained.  He would do well with another dog to play with, or even just by himself. He has no resource guarding, no food aggression, and no toy aggression...although, he is quite vocal when it comes time to play with his house mates. He knows sit and paw, but it is hard with him as he is easily distracted by the dogs around him. He would definitely benefit from some more one on one training.  He does need leash work, but I feel he would be a great hiking/running buddy. He would definitely do better in a home with older children as he is high energy and would be prone to knocking over smaller children. He is super friendly, but a meet and greet is required if there are other animals in the home. He would definitely benefit from more one on one training as he is easily distracted. Jaxx is up-to-date on all his vaccines including rabies, neutered, and microchipped.  If you would like to meet Jaxx, you can go to our website: animalrescuefriends.org and fill out an adoption application....By doing so, you are under no obligation to adopt him. Story
Becky and Jasper didn’t have the easiest start in life, but you’d never know it now. These two have blossomed into happy, affectionate, and goofy companions who are ready to find a forever home—together. Jasper is a big, lovable derp who will keep you laughing with his clumsy charm and giant heart. Becky is his softer sidekick, a total cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up and soak in the love. They balance each other perfectly and bring out the best in one another. They’re looking for a home where they can be the center of attention—no other pets, please—and would do best with children 10 and up. After everything they’ve been through, they deserve a family who will cherish them as much as they’ll be adored in return. If you're ready for double the love, double the loyalty, and double the joy, Becky and Jasper are ready to move in and fill your home with happiness.

Story
Bella is a stunning Great Dane mix with a heart as big as her paws! This gentle girl is an absolute dream with people—she adores attention, is wonderful with kids, and has impeccable manners thanks to her professional training with Phantom K9. Bella knows all her basic commands (sit, stay, place, down) and follows them like a pro. She walks beautifully on a leash and remains calm and non-reactive, even around other dogs. However, Bella prefers to be the only pet in the home. She thrives in a space where she doesn’t have to share her humans and can enjoy all the love to herself.

Story
Hi! I am looking for a home for our sweet girl, Lily. She's a 5.5 year old America Stafforshire Terrier mix, Rotweiler, Lab, Chow, Cattle Dog. She is very smart and loyal and follows commands. She has shown aggression towards dogs and various people, and should not be in a home with other dogs. If we are with her, she will generally sit/back off with people aggression, but if we are not there she can be aggressive. She's a snuggle bug, crate and house trained, and listens well. She is up to date on all of her shots. She cannot go to a home with kids and would love somewhere where she has space to run and a 'job' - she has strong herding instincts. For anyone of interest, a meet and greet is required first with a home visit. we have had Lily since she was a puppy, and have done training with her. She unfortunately is a risk to our young kids so we cannot keep her, (I think dominance issues), but we love her so much and are protective about where she will go. She's a great dog.

Story
I’m Vinnie – CEO of Vacuum Hater CLub I’m a three-year-old low-rider exotic bully, built solid and close to the ground. I’m not loud or flashy—I’m the kind of guy who watches first, settles in, and keeps things steady. I’ve transitioned into rescue life incredibly well, and that says a lot about who I am. My Daily Vibe I’m a very good boy. I haven’t had a single accident since coming into foster care. I sleep through the night, go to bed without issue, and handle routine like a pro. I’m not big on playing or causing chaos. I get along well with other dogs and mostly mind my own business. I love hopping up on the couch and going straight to sleep—it’s kind of my thing. I absolutely love being outside. When the weather’s nice and the back door is open, I’ll spend most of my day out there doing my thing. Sometimes I lay in the sun, sometimes I just hang out and exist. My foster has to check on me because I’m so content out there. If the door isn’t open, I’ll sit patiently by it until you let me out. No fuss, no drama—just waiting. Food, Treats & the Good Stuff I eat really well and I love my treats. Morning Greek yogurt with blueberries? That’s top-tier in my book. I appreciate the good things in life and don’t take them for granted. A Few Things You Should Know About Me I get very excited when loud electronic things turn on—vacuums, blow dryers, even the Insta Pot. I take those noises personally. I’ve gone after another dog a couple of times when those sounds were happening, but I do correct pretty well. My foster keeps us separated during noisy moments now, and that works great. I will bark while the noise is happening, but once it’s over, I settle back down. I’m still figuring out men. There’s one guy—Damien—who I haven’t trusted yet. I charged him once when he surprised me in the backyard, and again later when he tried to pet me. I let him at first and then changed my mind. I’ve been friendly with most other people, so this seems situational, but it tells you I need slow introductions, space, and time to decide someone is safe. Once I trust you, I’m solid. My Rescue Story I was saved from an LA shelter where I was sitting on the euthanasia list with no interest and no time left. Freedom Frenchie Rescue wanted me, but being in Arizona and not partnered with that shelter made things complicated. Time was running out fast. Then a family stepped up and adopted me just to save my life. I was super skinny and severely malnourished when they got me, and because of their care, commitment, and love, I’ve gained about 7–8 pounds and finally look and feel like myself again. They made sure I was medically cared for, safe, and loved—even knowing they weren’t meant to be my forever. Later, a friend of the rescue asked if Freedom Frenchie could take me in, and now here I am. Mo met in San Diego to get me and I had a backpack full of separated meals, toys, treats, medications, and my favorite blanket. That kind of love sticks with a dog. It also stuck with Mo she said “there are good people, cut from the same cloth Vinnie” Funny how life works—rescue tried to get me in at the end of October and couldn’t, and now I’m here, safe, steady, and hanging out with a bully-experienced foster. I want it said clearly: I’m alive because someone chose me when no one else did. The Home I’m Looking For I’m looking for a calm, structured home with someone who understands that trust doesn’t happen overnight and that rescues don’t come with instant expectations. I do best with slow introductions, especially with men, and a human who respects my space while showing up consistently. A yard where I can hang out, sunbathe, and quietly enjoy my time would make me very happy. I’m not here for chaos or pressure—I’m here for stability, patience, and a home that understands who I am. Final Word from Me I’m not a puppy. I’m not a clown. I’m a solid, loyal, low-key guy who’s still learning what real safety feels like. Don’t rush me. Don’t expect perfection. If you give me patience, respect my boundaries, and let me grow into myself, I’ll meet you there—steady and loyal the whole way. If that sounds like your kind of dog, I might just be your guy. Love, Vinnie This guy is vaccinated, spay and microchipped, he is being fostered in Mesa, AZ. His adoption donation fee is $1100.00 and you can apply for him at freedomfrenchierescue.org

Story
Meet Wrigley- Heartbroken Return My Love Story Began on the Freeway Be mine? I’m Leroy Wrigley, two years old, a bulldog with a big heart, big feelings, and a love story that didn’t start out easy. I came from the 5 Freeway and the Orange County Shelter, where I was labeled “not adoptable” because no one could safely touch me. Not a single Cupid could get close. Freedom Frenchie Rescue stepped in anyway, sending a full rescue team to scoop my dramatic bulldog booty, get me safely to San Diego, and then all the way to Arizona, where my real transformation began. Learning to Trust (and Fall in Love) When I arrived at Mo’s house, I was finally given the time and space to decompress. I had my own cozy area, soft blankets, gentle voices, and regular meals. I learned what “potty outside” meant, started to feel safe, and slowly realized that humans weren’t as scary as I once believed. The “don’t touch me” Grinch in me softened, and little by little, love started to replace fear. I was adotped 2 weeks ago and now I am being returned.. I smell fear in people Its better to ignore me until you figure me out. Yea I know its the opposite but when you ignore me I want more love and I listen way better to get that! 333 rule needs to be applied with me I have to have time to decompress and transition. I do not live in this fast-paced world humans do. When I started at Mo’s she did 555. My Signature Wobble & Ongoing Care I have a very distinctive walk—one I proudly call my signature wobble. Like many English Bulldogs, I have hip dysplasia, but mine is a little extra spicy. My hip sockets didn’t form correctly, which gives me a hip-hoppin’, wiggly strut that turns heads wherever I go. Freedom Frenchie Rescue took new X-rays and confirmed that I’ll need physical therapy in my future, along with good supplements and maintaining a healthy weight. I came in underweight at first, but with the right meds, care, and love, I’m doing really well. A Bulldog Personality with a Soft Center Personality-wise, I am a bulldog through and through. I’m demanding, opinionated, dramatic when things don’t go my way, and honestly very funny. Once I decide you’re my person, my loyalty runs deep. In the beginning, I was very unsure about being touched and did try to bite—fear talking, not aggression. Sometimes when I’m picked up, I’ll still grumble like an old man being woken from a nap, but I have never actually hurt anyone. Now, I seek out affection, rest my big head in your lap, roll over for belly rubs, and absolutely melt when you scratch the side of my neck. House-Trained, Healed, and Still Growing I’m pretty much potty trained, eat like a champion, and since my neuter, I’ve stopped trying to decorate the house with leg lifts. I’m proud to report zero poop accidents. I can be around other dogs as long as they mostly ignore me, which suits me just fine. With time, trust, and patience, I could absolutely have a dog friend in the future. My Perfect Valentine Home I’m looking for someone who understands sweet-but-spicy bulldogs, keeps snacks nearby, and believes in slow trust-building with a big heart. I love scratches everywhere except my hips for now, and in return, I promise to bring goofy charm, wobbly joy, and unwavering loyalty into your life. All I’m Missing Is You I’m Leroy Wrigley—a fighter, a lover, a wiggle-walker, and a redeemed freeway boy. I’m finally ready to be warm, safe, and adored. Maybe on your couch, maybe by your side, but definitely in your heart. PS I am vaccinated, microchipped and neutered, currently I am being fostered in Mesa, AZ. My adoption donation fee is $1050.00 and you can check out how to adopt me at freedomfrenchierescue.org and apply for there too! *Please Note: All learning and guidance must continue in their new home. A dog’s behavior can change with a new environment and energy, and every family’s dynamic is different. What works or is allowed in one foster home may not be the same in yours, so consistency, patience, and continued training are key to their success.

Story
Hey. I’m Bronson. I’m Bronson, a 5-year-old Exotic Bully, clocking in at a solid 55 pounds of muscle, charm, and questionable decision-making. I currently reside with Freedom Frenchie Rescue, where I’ve been informed that I am “a lot,” but in a good way. I came here as a rescue plea from San Bernardino Animal Shelter after animal control found me “aggressively fighting a garbage can.” Now listen—was I aggressive? Or was I hungry and defending my right to snacks? History will decide. What I do know is that I was misunderstood, underfed, and ready for a comeback tour. The Redemption Arc Since landing in rescue, I’ve been finding my groove. As the world turns, I’ve been becoming more me every day—more relaxed, more confident, and way more comfortable knowing I’m safe. Turns out when you’re not fighting garbage cans for survival, life gets pretty sweet. But I do go for the occasional mop and bucket, sometimes I just have to fuck shit up and laugh! I am a dog and y’all are humans you have bad days to! But hey no one ever gets hurt and I do not go after people and dogs. I love my little Frenchie foster brother and I’m learning the ropes with my other foster siblings. The only thing I’m still side-eyeing is height ( they are super trained rotties) Tall dogs make me nervous. HOWEVER, I have learned that tall dogs are extremely useful when toys get stuck or treats are just out of reach. So we coexist peacefully. Mostly. I can eat next to them and everything is fine and sometimes I do think about curling up next his lady but I don’t think cheating is her thing. The House Rules (and How I Feel About Them) 🏠 Cats? Hard no…haha I tried so hard to get under that couch and it was not happening. I cat wasn’t even under there anymore and I was looking forever! Man they are quick! I’m not good at hide-and-seek, the cat always wins, and frankly, it hurts my confidence. Chickens? Allegedly we have chickens, but I’ve never noticed them and would like that statement to stand. I do best in a home without cats, but I’m cool with dogs when introductions are done right. Let me repeat myself INTRODUCTIONS ARE DONE RIGHT, 333 please! I’m a respectful dude once everyone understands the hierarchy (spoiler: I think it’s me, but I’m flexible). My People I secretly love preteens and older kids ( not I’m not a weirdo we are just on the same brain waves) They’re fun, they understand my energy, and they don’t judge me for being a little extra. I’m a champion cuddler and a huge fan of snuggling in bed watching classic TV with my friend Gabby (teenager). If there’s a couch, a blanket, and a human nearby, I will find them. At night, I sleep in my own bed next to my foster mom. She tucks me in every night, which I graciously accept. I won’t tell her that I prefer to fluff my own bed like an adult. Some traditions are sacred. The blanket on me is the icing on the cake! Social Life & Celebrity Status I LOVE going out. I love meeting new people. I love taking pictures. I love attention. I am basically the guy at the party who knows everyone and somehow ends up in all the photos. Want a dog who’s down for anything? Going out? I’m in. Staying home? I’m in. Sharing food? I was born ready. I am a social butterfly, a cuddle extraordinaire, and honestly? A great date. Health Check: Strong Like Bull When I first arrived, I had a urinary infection that caused blood to come out in a scary amount. No not in my urine it was after I urinated. Not my finest moment. The rescue got me on antibiotics, got me neutered, and—like the pros they are—called it: neutering fixed an underlying prostate issue. Everything cleared up quickly, and now I’m feeling fantastic. Healthy. Comfortable. Thriving, and peeing like an Olympian. Gold medal please! The Bottom Line I’m full of love, chaos, loyalty, and heart. I’m the kind of dog who will be your ride-or-die, your couch buddy, your wingman, and your emotional support hype man. I’m an exotic low riding bully do your research! I may have started this chapter throwing hands with a garbage can (reminder: food), but I’m ready to end it exactly where I belong—with people who get me. Love, Bronson I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, my adoption donation fee is $1100.00. You can apply for @freedomfrenchierescue.org and I am currently being fostered in Mesa, AZ.
