Story
Hi, my name is Chalet! I’m a spunky senior girl with plenty of pep in my step and a heart full of love. I enjoy going on adventures with my HALO friends and soaking up all the attention I can get. Whether we’re out for a stroll or just relaxing together, I’m happiest when I’m with people. I’d do best in a home without cats, but I’d be happy to meet any potential dog siblings you have to see if we’re a good match. If you’ve got a cozy spot on the couch and room in your heart for a sweet girl like me, come visit me! *I`m currently enjoying some time in foster care, but I`m still available for adoption. If you`re interested in meeting me, please email foster@halorescue.org to learn more!*

Story
Hi there, my name is Milly and I`m mostly American Staffordshire Terrier with a splash of some other bully breeds mixed in for extra flavor. I may be big but I`m still a puppy at heart and love playing with my toys. I`ve also been good with smaller dogs and would even share my bed so we could cuddle. I get excited when meeting new dogs and would need to meet any resident dogs first before making this official. Besides my cute smile, you may notice I walk a little funny. This doesn`t bother me currently and a daily joint supplement makes me right as rain. Are you ready to take home this giant goober? Come visit me at HALO today!

Story
Fauna was found in a field on the reservation trying to deliver a puppy. The rancher called the police to come and help and the police called us. We drive as fast as we could to get there and found that the first puppy had died and that Fauna was skin and bones. So much so that u could see every bone in her body. We got her to safety and she had her remaining pup who have now been adopted. Now it's Fauna's turn! Fauna would prefer to be the only dog. She is super loving with people but doesn't have patience with other dogs. If you are interested in this sweet young 1 year old girl.please text 480-718-1312. Adoption fee includes spay, shots and microchip.September 25, 2025, 2:06 pm

Story
Meet Casper, the handsome goofball with a heart as big as his smile. His journey to happiness has not exactly been a walk in the park. He first found himself in isolation at the Humane Society, battling pneumonia. Once in our care, we learned he also had Brachycephalic Airway Syndrome, which made every breath a struggle and left him vulnerable to aspiration pneumonia. But Casper is no quitter. After a successful airway surgery, he is breathing easy and finally able to live life the way every dog should, full of tail wags, zoomies, and sunshine naps. Of course, healing is not just about the body. It is about the heart, too. Casper is currently enrolled in a Board and Train program with our friends at Connected Canine, where he is learning to build trust, confidence, and calm. During training, we discovered that Casper is deaf, which helped explain some of the anxieties he carried early on. With consistent hand signals, patience, and a whole lot of love, Casper has been absolutely thriving and showing just how capable and intelligent he is. This boy is a true social butterfly when it comes to other dogs. He lights up around his canine pals and happily joins in playtime shenanigans. He is equal parts goofy entertainer and cuddle connoisseur. One minute making you laugh with his silly antics, the next melting into your lap for snuggles. Casper is ready for a forever family who will embrace him for exactly who he is, unique, resilient, and overflowing with love. If that sounds like you, apply today at skysanctuaryrescue.org/adopt. We cannot wait for you to meet this very special boy.

Story
Hunny is a 3-year-old French Bulldog mix whose journey is nothing short of remarkable. She came to us after surviving a life-threatening electrocution injury to her mouth, an emergency that would have broken most. But Hunny faced it all with quiet strength, endless sweetness, and a spark that refused to dim. Today, Hunny is fully healed and thriving. She has completed a professional Board and Train program with our friends at Connected Canine and continues to shine as she builds on everything she has learned. She is eager, bright, and so proud to show off her skills. Nothing slows this girl down. She is loving life, and it shows in everything she does. Hunny is playful, wildly entertaining, and full of personality. She will make you laugh with her yard zoomies, silly faces, and pure joy over the simplest things. She is a true testament to resilience and just as tender and affectionate as she is goofy. Spayed, fully vetted, professionally trained, and microchipped, Hunny is ready to find the forever home she so deeply deserves. She will thrive with someone who appreciates her fun-loving spirit and is excited to continue building on the strong foundation she already has. If you are looking for a dog who is smart, strong, hilarious, and absolutely bursting with love, Hunny might just be your perfect match. Submit an adoption application at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications to meet this extraordinary little survivor. We cannot wait to introduce you.
