Story
Meet Big Boy! At around 88 pounds, he certainly lives up to his name — but he’s truly a gentle giant at heart. Big Boy is affectionate, mellow, and generally a very quiet boy. He’s done well with many dogs and even lived in a foster home with 10+ dogs of all sizes, though he can be a little dog-selective at times. He can be strong on leash when he wants to be, but generally walks well and he tires out quickly. He loves toys and enjoys hanging out with his people and is a fun loving boy. He does display minor resource guarding with his food and toys, and will give a small fair warning if you try and take them while he is engaged with them. So please no small children. Otherwise he is a fantastic boy with so much love to give. Come meet this sweet, steady Big Boy at our shelter!

Story
Meet Coco! This beautiful brindle girl is about 65 pounds and has a medium to lower energy. She enjoys her walks, getting snacks (especially snacks) or playing with a stuffie, or another dog. Or just being a couch potato if that’s what you prefer. She has good manners and doesn’t really jump on people, and knows how to sit very politely. She is decent on leash after she gets her initial excitement out. She is very affectionate and will lean into you to get pets. When she wants more, she’ll nuzzle into your hand or arm for attention. She loves people, has done well with kids and has been fantastic with every dog she’s met (high or low energy, male or female, big or small) We often use her for testing with other dogs because she is so reliable and just about every dog we get goes through Coco for assessment. She has also been tested around cats and did well, though slow and proper introductions are always recommended. She shows potential to do well in just about any family out there! Come meet this perfect girl at our shelter!

Story
Meet Biff!Biff is a handsome 3-year-old boy weighing approximately 55–60 pounds with a medium energy level and a personality that is sure to make you smile. This sweet, affectionate guy absolutely loves people and will happily flop over for belly rubs at the slightest bit of attention.Biff is a goofy, fun-loving dog who enjoys being around his people and soaking up affection. While he enjoys walks and playtime, he tires out fairly quickly and is more than happy to relax and enjoy some cuddles once he`s had a little exercise.Biff does well with other dogs of similar size and enjoys having canine companions to play with. However, because he can play a little rough and has shown some prey drive, he would do best in a home without small dogs or cats.Like many young dogs, Biff is still working on polishing some of his manners. He would benefit from continued training and guidance. Because of this, we think he would do best in a home with older children who can help reinforce appropriate boundaries and behavior.Overall, Biff is an incredibly sweet boy with a silly personality, a heart full of love, and so much potential. With a little consistency and effort, he`s sure to shine in the right home.Come meet Biff at our shelter and see if he`s the perfect match for your family!

Meet Chupe!Chupe is a 3-year-old, 68-pound sweetheart with a personality as big as his smile. If you`re looking for an affectionate dog, Chupe is your guy! One of his favorite things in the world is meeting new people, and he`s known for immediately flopping over for belly rubs whenever he spots a willing hand.Chupe is a friendly, social boy who does well with other dogs and enjoys making new friends. He can be energetic when playtime rolls around, but he also tires out fairly quickly and is happy to settle down for some affection and relaxation. This lovable goofball knows a few basic commands and is eager to please. He could benefit from a little continued training, especially when it comes to keeping all four paws on the ground. Chupe loves people so much that he sometimes gets excited and tries to give hugs when greeting them. When Chupe first came to us, he was in need of a little TLC after losing much of his hair due to mange. The good news is that he is healing beautifully, his coat is growing back quickly, and he`s transforming into a stunning, muscular boy more and more each day. With his affectionate nature, friendly personality, and endless love for belly rubs, Chupe is sure to bring lots of joy to his future family. Come meet this handsome guy and see why everyone falls in love with him!

Story
Meet Dunkin!Dunkin is a 3-year-old, 54-pound American Staffordshire Terrier with a stocky build, striking two-toned eyes, and a unique fawn merle coat that is sure to turn heads. He originally came to Fresno Bully Rescue from Stanislaus Animal Services after being found as a stray.Dunkin has a medium energy level and enjoys getting out for walks, where he does well on leash. He is a social guy who gets along with other dogs and would love a family that can continue helping him build on his good manners. One of Dunkin`s most lovable qualities is his silly, affectionate personality. He loves spending time with his people and is always ready to make you laugh with his goofy antics. Beneath his playful side, Dunkin can also be a very sweet and sensitive boy who enjoys attention and forming close bonds with his people.Although we don`t know much about his past, Dunkin appears to have been someone`s house dog at one point. He already has some basic manners and, from what we`ve observed, seems to be at least partially potty trained. He settles into routines well and enjoys being part of the action with his people.Because he can become a little mouthy when he gets overly excited, we think he would be best suited for a home with older children who can help reinforce appropriate play and boundaries. If you`re looking for a handsome, fun-loving companion with a unique look, a goofy personality, and a sweet, sensitive heart, Dunkin may be the perfect match for you!

Must have another dog! Meet our adorable little pocket pittie, Lacy 🐶💕! At about 1 year old and 46 lbs, she’s the perfect size for snuggling on the couch or tagging along on your next adventure. With her soft eyes and that classic bully smile, she’s impossible to resist. While Lacy looks like a Pit Bull-type mix to us, we can’t know for sure—breed is always our best guess based on appearance alone. ❤️ Lacy is the perfect balance of playful and chill. She’s always up for a game, a stroll around the neighborhood, or some fun with her canine pals, but she’s just as happy relaxing by your side after a day of adventures. Lacy’s dream home is a quiet household with another friendly dog to be her built-in best friend. She truly enjoys canine companionship and would love a doggie buddy to share her days with. A single-person home would be especially ideal, giving her the calm environment where she can thrive and build a strong bond with her person. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will brighten your days and stick by your side through it all, Lacy just might be your perfect match. 🏡💕🐕
