Story
Hi I am looking to rehome our almost one and a half year old pup, due to limited space and my new promotion. We had Zeus since he left his mama at about 2 months. His mama was a rescue who had puppies during a hurricane on a farm in Texas, she was only 42lbs while nursing and Zeus is now 72lbs. Our expected mid size pup turned into a big energetic boy. He loves socializing and playing at doggie daycare, playing fetch and running along with you or while you ride a bike. He is a high energy dog that needs a lot of room to run. Best suited for a family with a big yard, older children, with or without other dogs. Zeus has had professional training in obedience, he is house and crate trained. If you are interested or know anyone who is please apply. This is a really hard decision for us, I have never had to rehome one of my dogs, but looking to find the right fit rather than releasing him to a shelter. Please share.Thank you. 🐾

Story
This friend has just arrived because their owner could no longer keep them. While owners can provide some history on their pets, our medical and behavioral teams will still evaluate them. Dogs that have lived in homes previously typically have some training established, but we cannot guarantee that those behaviors will remain consistent in a new home environment. They are pending interactions with other animals at the shelter until they have been cleared by our vet. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and we will update their bio with more information as we learn. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
This puppy has just arrived! They have come to us on transport from a shelter partner, were found as stray, or surrendered to our care by an owner. Puppies require a significant amount of structure, routine, time, patience, and training to learn how to behave properly in a home. The first few months of having a puppy is a critical time to establish boundaries and help your puppy understand what they can expect from you and what you expect from them. Remember, puppies aren’t born knowing how to live in a human’s world, it is up to you to teach them how to make good decisions in a positive and caring manner. The more positive interactions they have in their first year of life will set them up for better behavior in the future. Story
Meet Ellie !! Ellie is the sweetest girl! She is approx 3 - 4 years young. Ellie was rescued as a critically ill pregnant momma dog. We were able to save Ellie but unfortunately none of her puppies survived. Ellie adores people, children, and tortoises too! Ellie loves her pup cups when she’s out and about in the car! Ellie is house and crate trained and loves going for walks and car rides!! Ellie can be selective about which dogs she would like to have as friends, . therefore she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Ellie absolutely deserves to be someone’s princess and receive all of their love and attention. To meet Ellie please apply on www.StrayNetwork.org
