Story
I am a very sweet and gentle girl. I might seem shy and timid at first, but it’s just stressful and scary in here for me, and I promise to open up once I get the chance to know you. I walk very politely on a leash, am crate-trained and house-trained, and have an affectionate side, too! I know some basic commands, such as “sit”, “come”, and “stay”. I have lived well with other dogs, and my previous owner reports that I also lived well with cats! However, I might do best in a house with older children. If you are looking for a gentle soul who can offer the perfect balance of playfulness and cuddles and who just needs a little bit of structure and love, I might be the perfect match!Weighs around 38 lbs - House-trained! - Good with other dogs & cats! - Would do best in a household with no small children - Walks great on a leash

Story
We got him a few years ago from the animal shelter. He is a very good dog that loves to be the center of attention. He is great with other dogs and cats. Unfortunately my husband and I don’t have the time for him anymore since having our son a year ago. We want what’s best for him which we believe would be to a home with older children or adult who would play fetch or tug of war with him and who would take him out on long walks.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Resident since April 2018Meet Amora – A Hidden Gem Waiting for Her Person   Hello, my name is Amora. I’ve heard people say I’m beautiful—and I won’t argue with that! But there’s so much more to me than just my looks. I’ve been at PRBJ for over six years, patiently waiting for the right person to come along. That’s more than half my life spent dreaming of a place to call home.   Why So Long? The truth is, I need time. I don’t warm up to new people right away, but once you earn my trust, I will love you fiercely and forever. I never forget those who show me kindness. I’m loyal, gentle with those I trust, and I truly just want a quiet home where I can relax and feel safe.   Here’s What You Should Know About Me:   I walk well on a leash, though I prefer short strolls over long adventures—especially if you’re by my side. I would do best in a calm, adult-only home (1–2 adults max) with very little foot traffic. I must be the only pet in the home. No dogs, cats, birds, or squirrels (I’ve got strong feelings about them). A fish might be okay! I need patience, understanding, and consistency—but I promise, I’m worth it.     Still Reading? That Means You Might Be the One. If you think you might be the special person I’ve been waiting for, the team at PRBJ is ready to help us take the journey together. They know me well and are more than willing to support a slow introduction process to make sure we’re the perfect match.   It might take time, but I believe in second chances. Story
Hi! I’m "Princess", a wonderful canine companion in search of my furever home. I was rescued from a neglectful situation and was in a good foster situation until my caretaker passed away. I am a 5-6 year old, and have been spayed, microchipped and up on all my shots, including the 1 year heartworm shot. Medical records are at Spruce Creek Animal Clinic in Port Orange, under the care of Dr. Hancock. I’ve been told I am a sweetheart, overflowing with affection, strong and have boundless energy. I would be the perfect playmate for playing fetch and wrestling. I would love a large fenced in yard to run around in and expel all my energy. Most of all, I thrive on attention and love to be doted on. I am 65 pounds of muscle. I am crate trained. I have not been around children at all and cats and I don’t get along. If you're ready to provide me, “Princess” with the loving home I deserve, please reach out for more information. If he doesn't answer please leave a message, he'll call back!
